Pollock has done a terrible job. Hes tried and everything, but he wasn't a good choice of captain. The powerplays, bowler rotations, supersub use and field placings were all wrong.
The opening bowlers seem to be the problem. Pollock and Akhtar have been unlucky but they have been too expensive but most importantly they haven't taken wickets, Pollock has 1 from 2 games, Akhtar 0. Kallis has been absolutly shocking. Flintoff terrible. Akhtar has sooo much talent and potential, its a shame really. Pollock is usually a good bowler as well. I think the problem is they both havn't played cricket lately.
In saying that Ponting had about 5 lives it seemed. The ball went flying up and landed safe a few times, caught off a no ball, almost played onto the stumps. He played well. The australian batting performance was brilliant, it seemed like Zimbabwe was out there bowling, infact they may of done a better job. The fielding was bad. It wasn't taken into any consideration by the selectors who, its now proven have done an absolutly shocking job.
Now thats out of my system and mabee I will be happy in 4 or so hours time, heres hoping the World batsmen put up a good fight and we get at least one stunning innings. A hundred or hundred partnership. Just something. I don't care who wins but this is starting to look like an embarrisment and a waste of time.

Sehwag looked a complete loss against McGrath, and he is in better form? Catch up with the news, Sehwag even struggled against the mighty Zimbabweans.
Sparky innings from Gilchrist there. Awesome to watch, that pull off Akhtar was definitely the best one in the innings. Flintoff is having a shocker of a match, shows England bowlers are not that impressive on hard pitches.
Sehwag has played recent cricket, he got a 50 diddn't he? Whens the last time Afridi played?
