A little misguided. Jacques Kallis at 7?

Batting order - minor issue, though. If the bosses believe the SCG will take turn (as it tends to) they may pick a team like this.

It's a longer tail, albeit a sturdy one (both Vettori and Pollock have Test centuries to their names), but with the inclusion of Vettori and Pollock, they can bowl a spinner all day if needed. Plus, it would be pretty funny if Inzi goes to all that fuss and doesn't get picked.

I suspect, however, that the SCG may not be turning particularly impressively, as it's very early in the season and the weather has been kind, so the pitch shouldn't wear and crack unduly.

So on that assumption, we can just go with

Don't know about Kallis and Lara, but they should be better then him.

Kallis's stats are better I'm sure. But Lara? Not in the last year. He's had quite a few centuries in tests but it didn't help his average getting out for a low score following his century.

BTW, glad to see Inzi playing. I saw Shehryar's interview on GEO and he said there was a misunderstanding between Inzamam and the selectors, which is why Inzi felt embarassed for some reason. The chairman talked to him and pretty much told him to get over it, he needs to go over and represent his country.
