ICC World T20 Bangladesh 2014

Pakistan still in the game. If Indian spinners can be this effecitve, imagine Ajmal. Also Hafeez is a very good bowler too. And they have Afridi.

This is by no means easy for India. We need a strong start if we have to wrest advantage here. But we are still in with a good chance, and that pleases me.

Absolutely rubbish start again. Openers have have been absolutely horrible in terms of hitting boundaries.

Oh finally Rohit!

Thanks. Just as you said it, Rohit hits a 4 and a 6 off consecutive balls.:clap:thumbs

Dhawan is looking absolutely clueless here.

Edit: I should keep criticizing them.

Indians are good enough to handle them. Target is also not big.

Indian openers are good and sensible today.Has the time as target is small and so they are taking time to settle in.

Aalay - please keep criticizing the team. You are actually jinxing it in a good way!:D

Dhawan batters Ajmal's first over! That should be a major psychological boost for India.

If it was the senior players, I would say we can handle the spinners anyday with ease. But today's youngsters are not as steady vs spin as our predecessors were. For e.g., Dravid/Ganguly/Tendulkar/Laxman would feast on spin. But today, we do have a few who are circumspect against spin (e.g. Yuvraj, at times Raina against good spinners).

I am having a feeling that India will win easily.

Hope India doesn't get choked in these middle overs by the spinners. We need to keep rotating the strike, and try the occasional big shots to keep the scoreboard moving at a healthy pace.

I would personally send Kohli at one down next, not Raina.

That was probably the best shot I have seen from Rohit in last 4 months. What a shot to Umer Gul.
