India in the West Indies

I wouldn't say that he has erased all doubts. With Tendulkar coming back, it's going to be between him and Laxman and that's a hard choice to make. I also feel that Suresh Raina should make it to the Test team. The guy's got good technique and temperament to succeed at the highest level.
One good knock from Laxman and he stays in the team. Kaif need to play consistently, Yuvraj will also be under pressure if he fails few more times.

Raina looks good, but you don't want too many youngsters in the team at the same time, not in test cricket. Follow the Aussies, get one player, groom him and then another.

Anyway, Kumble strikes! One more wicket and WI will be under enormous pressure.

Wow. West Indies surely can't win now. Much improved performance from India. Lara held their hope. Kaif and Dravid pushed the lead much too far.

Wow man WOW.... India turning on the heat here at St Lucia. A placid pitch which has produced three centuries in a single innings, is now causing trouble for the home team.

Is it because of the bowling or bad batting or the pitch? Munaf, anyways, had done tremendously so far. And Kumble getting Lara is always a highlight. Cant wait for the third day to unfold. So far, this test has been one-sided. Windies dont seem to be capable of winning at least this test match (unless and until they conjure up a miracle and come back big tomorrow).

Munaf was causing problems so obviously there is still some green in this pitch. Just poor bowling by the Windies and great batting by India gave them such a good target.

A draw is still on the cards with showers forecasted to the finish of this match so Windies just need to bat sensibly.

India has to finish the job this time around. The pitch isn't all that bad. Munaf is swinging the ball well. So should others.

Gayle is GONE! Kumble strikes!

Its emerging as a pattern, that Gayle after hitting a six off Kumble immediately gets out off the bowling of Kumble itself!

India strikes! Come on India!

I think India can do it this time around. Munaf is doing well, Kumble is as usual highly accurate. With support from Sehwag and others, India can do it..

Chanderpaul out as well. LBW to Pathan. Bravo and Ramdin putting up some resistance. They have been batting together for about 16 overs. Pitch is suppose to be deteriorating.

India are really in a very commanding position right now! 139/5 at Lunch, the Windies will need something special to survive against Kumble & Co, because they have to protect 15 wickets in 8 sessions which should be very tough!

I was really impressed with the Monk! His drift was very good, & he was providing some tough times for the Windies! I feel that he will take out Bravo again!

For now, India just need 1 wicket to get into the bowlers! They shouldn't be too much of a problem except Bradshaw, but the Windies will miss Dave Mohammed for his slogs!

The post-lunch session should be interesting! :)

West Indies need another 203 runs to aviod the follow on with only 3 wickets left
Should India enforce it and will they?

I think they should try to get a lead of about 450, instead of following on on a pitch that may get more profitable for bowlers as time goes on.
