India in the West Indies

I hope you didn't bet all your vCash on an Indian win Aussie1st.

I still think WI can draw this match, with the help of a little rain ofcourse.

The Match is in India's pocket now. Windies need Divine Intervention Now!!!
Everything about the ODI Series will be forgiven/forgotten if India win the Test Series.
It's been 25 years Man! A Cricketing Nation of India's stature has to win this one.
No Quarter!!!

The monk holds all cards... nay, the Monk knows all cards. In fact, the Monk even has a card in a standard deck--the 53rd card which he chooses not to show to mere mortals.

What an innings from the Monk. His wisdom has paid huge dividends: "Why defend when one believes in swashbucklism?" It was particularly satisfying seeing Bravo taken to the cleaners. This guy has tormented us for too long in this tour, and it's about time he was put in his place by the Monk. :) Too bad Mohammad is out and Gayle is not being given a bowl. :D

Here's a nice one from cricinfo:

He was allowed only three balls in the second innings as the umpires decided to take the players off. Even the elements, it appeared, couldn't handle it anymore.

Rain, rain, go away.
I will be pissed off if India don't win this one. I hope that if they don't, it is because of a sterling batting performance, rather than rain.

true

I prefer WI fighting out a draw than a rain playing spoil sport. Well, in many instances in the past, rain denied India important wins. I hope this won't be another one.

Lara is all set for double ton tomrrow. I BET! He will kill the indian bowling.

Didnt I read somewhere that you're an Indian fan?

You sound like that 'Muhammed Asif' who used to post nonsense stuff in this forum!

Lara scoring a double hundred! How do you predict that? Will you cut off your tongue if he doesnt tomorrow? The truth is, he hasnt been able to score runs against India this series. he hasnt looked threatening at all throughout this tour by the indians (except for that 69 in the ODI's).

India HAS to win this one...

Same here... Rain has to go away, the big boys want to play and the Bharat boys, want to win!

I think if India continue like this, they can surely beat West Indies anywhere and win the series!

The start of Day 4 has been delayed due to rain and there is more to come today and tomorrow. Hopefully the rain can stick around long enough to save the West Indies.

It would indeed be an injustice in that case, since they have been completely outplayed in this game, thus far.

Rain indeed affected the India-Aus series in 2004, it was a dissappointing test for India which ended in a draw.

Things are heading the same direction here, but lets hope for some play atleast after lunch.

It seems that the rain is helping the West Indies. If it keeps raining today, West Indies has a big chance towards a draw.

India picked up 8 wickets on day 3 with some rain and bad light taking off overs from the play. why cant they pick 9 wickets on day 5?

could be another thriller in the offing....

definitely. after a ODI series debacle, India badly needs a victory to completely get to the thick of things here. Not that they wont continue the good work if they're denied a victory, but you need to be rewarded for coming back from tough times and getting into such dominating positions!

If the Windies lose it from here they deserve to lose. All they need to do is survive one day now. Tommorow is Scattered Showers 30% chance of rain so we should see some play tommorow.
