India in the West Indies

I think they should enforce the follow on if they wrap up the next 2 batsmen quickly. It would be sad to be blasted by a Lara ton and then lose, trying to be too aggressive.

I think they should try to get a lead of about 450, instead of following on on a pitch that may get more profitable for bowlers as time goes on.
Point to ponder.Let's see if the Indian skipper enforces the follow on or not?
Tired legs in the field would be another point to consider.

But now with the part timers Sehwag and Yuvraj operating, I think the Indian skipper is preserving his main bowlers for a probable follow on.

tired legs can't be a reason.
And India would inforce follow on, simply because patel and kumble are in very good rhythm

I think India might bat the last session today, and an hour of tomorrow's opening session and then leave the rest of the match to the windies to try and get the remaining runs which would then be close to or even over 500 (assuming india can get 127 runs in a session and a half).

i feel india should bat out a session and a half and set themselves up for a big win!

frankly, quite amazed at how this pitch has suddenly turned against the home team. when the indians batted, looked as if runs were being given out in generous quantities. now, the pitch is keeping low, variable bounce, etc.

Veeru is rapidly growing as a reliable test match bowler. he has the patience and probs away at the batsmen. he can become a good reliable test match bowler, if he is continued with! 3 wickets today for him!

not sure, but kolkatta 2001 can happen to anybody. that was a turning track helpful to the spinners, this one cant be as helpful as that one was, to the spin bowlers.

Pathan strikes early! Gayle gone!

WI in early trouble, I think this match will be wrapped by the fourth day.

Looking at the BBC Scorecard, Lara has come in at 3, while Sarwan was 3 in the first innings. Is there any reason for this? I don't have sky, so can't actually watch the match :(

All up to Lara and the rain. It's going to take something special for the Windies to get a draw out of this one. Only way I can see a draw happening is via two washed out days.

OK,when you see Lara comes in at no.3,then,prepare for the best of batting.Anytime he comes in at 3 instead of 4,he is upbeat in confidence and looking for a big one.

You what? Lara hasn't came in because he's confident of scoring big runs, he's came in to take responsibility as WI are in massive trouble.

I sure hope Lara can produce something special, especially considering the fact that this maybe his last ever series.

If that's the case, why doesn't he always bat at 3?

i don't thin this will be his last series but we can expect a special from him. I'm sure it'll be tough because of the pitch and kumble, but he's a genius and he can do something out of the ordinary.

India will look to get early wickets to keep up the momentum

Just looked at the weather and thunderstorms are predicted and the last day of play is for Scattered Showers so Windies have their saviour if as predicted these showers come through.
