India in the West Indies

This is great stuff from Harbajhan; I hope India avoid the follow-on so that a Windies victory is even more unlikley. That'll punish them for batting stupidly.

Lol, i liked the cricinfo commentary. Bhajji doing the job, but 26 runs still required.
:rtfl

Pedro Collins injured and Jerome Taylor looks pretty tired. I wonder what option West Indies will take if they have to opportunity to enforce the follow on. About 10 minutes left to tea, I believe.

Also, what approach will the Windies take if there is no follow on? Will they bat out a draw? That seems the most likely option, seeing how they batted in the first innings.

Also, on the Ganguly front, he scored a 71 off 106 balls opening the batting in an OD match, and ended up on the losing side as Stephen Fleming scored a run-a-ball 120ish not out.

Yep, I think the Windies will just bat it out if the follow-on is avoided. It would be a shame really, considering that they have a number of attack-minded batsmen, such as Gayle and Sarwan.

I really want India to win the final test now.

Finally the last wicket falls, waiting for the West Indies commentators to begin oozing about what a brilliant delivery it was to dismiss our number 11.

On the Sky production of this match in England, Courtney Walsh is implying that the Windies may not even enforce the follow-on, so that they can rest their bowlers.

EDIT: NO!! The Windies are in fact batting again! I hope for cricket's sake that they don't bat out for a draw.

Considering that Pedro Collins is injured and Jerome Taylor is now bowling in the 70s instead of the 80s, that may not be such a bad idea. Also, the Windies have maintained an over rate of about 12, and they probably don't want to end the day bowling in case they get fined.

If the Windies decide to attack, then I hope we see a Gayle special.

EDIT: I've also just seen the Dhoni and Kaif wickets for the first time; ridiculous decisions!! A blind man would give those not out!

Apparently, Brian Lara isn't enforcing the follow-on so that his bowlers are preserved for the 4th test match at Jamaica. Does he not realise that there is a friggin' test match on now!!!

That pitch report rhyme from Jeremy Coening (not sure of is name) was class!!

The ODI's were much much better.

Lara has a tough choice to make, go for the kill and risk bowlers, or give them a break, but then the chances of a draw are very high.

They'll probably play 20 overs or so, try to whack the Indian attack, get a lead of 300-350, and put India under pressure.

nvm, Gayle gone! 3-1, finally a reasonable decision for Jerling.

Gayle gone to a great catch by Dhoni! No doubt the Windian commentators will say it was not out.

This is really frustrating, another LBW appeal! and the umpire doesn't give it. Anyway, Sarwan doesn't do too much damage.

Interesting way of winning the game by the Windies. Thought they may have gone for the follow on and try and bowl India out again. It would have been the quicker way.
This way does leave India in the game meaning they'll play their shots but leaves the Windies less time.

They'll need atleast 350 runs lead and few overs to bowl before the day. It looks realistic right now, with Lara on fire.
