India in the West Indies

On Dhoni, I still think that it is too early in his career to label him simply as an 'entertainer' and nothing more. He can improve, and hopefully he will-that's all I have to say on that.
You can look at his technique and say that. Nothing against him, but he's an entertainer, a useful bat for India.
When you've got a technically sound player like Patel or even Karthick, people in the dressing room (or the next batsman) can feel a bit secure. Not with Dhoni, and sometimes, not with Sehwag either.

Two wickets down but still lot of batting to come. India will need all its 4 bowlers to fire.

India turning it on now! 80/5 at lunch! I hope they bundle out under 150, which would truly exemplify Kumble's handy batting! Anyway, that truly is a hard pitch to bat on, & India does have a very good chance to force a result, signing off this great series with a great win!

Finally! This series has a sporting ptch!

What??? Couldnt believe it... 80/5??? When I saw it, WI were 42/1 in 10 overs. I thought India were in for a very long day. But we have managed a great thing by picking up 5 wickets before WI could even cross 100.

If we can bundle WI out for 150, that would be cool.. But I expect the WI lower order to fight and get close to 200. Should be a very interesting match from now on!

He's got another one! Windies are 7/88

Harbhajan's figures are 3/2 (1.2)

Good thing Mohammad isn't batting here.

Bhajji grabs a fourth. I hope the turbanator gets a fifth!

Munaf has been consistently putting it up at 90 mph. Looks like he builds up good pace when the batsmen aren't scoring!

Not really. The pitch is helping the bowlers, with the extra energy after lunch, he's putting up few more paces in his bowling.

Good come-back from India, i hope the batsmen can turn in around for them.

Well, he's obviously a rhythm bowler and if someone's not scoring off you, you're bound to be more pumped

Another Pfeiffer for Bhajji. :D

103 all-out, a 97 run lead. I don't think anyone would have expected that, and that too from Bhajji. Nice chance for India to get a big lead. Its upto the openers to provide a good start and the middle order to play positive cricket.

Windies out for 103! Woot!

Being caught up in football frenzy, I've surely missed a pretty entertaining test match (well, so far - will make up for it now!). Who was/were the destructive bowlers for India ?

TRULY AMAZING!!! As cricket_lover said, no one expected that what with the Windies have a good batting line up and the wicket was expected to ease out after Day 1. But seems like the wicket is still giving help to the bowlers. But nothing to take away from Harbhajan! Superb stuff from him...

Now the match is tilting in the favor of the Indians! Lets see what Amit Verma (Cricinfo) says today! Yesterday he said only rain can save India in this test now. Now it looks like West Indies might need the rain (which is currently coming down) to save them..

Its over yet. India need a lead of 300 and then they will truly be entrenched in the driver's seat. This wicket is only going to get worse from the end of day 3. So India need at least a lead of 300 with two days to go to have the best shot at victory!

Munaf has been really good in this series. he has been bowling very consistently and is slowly developing into a very reliable bowler in the test matches.

Nothing big! I dont think Mohammed would have withstood the Indian onslaught here at Jamaica!

The openers are back in the hut! India 6/2???

Looks like this match could end within three days! Its been 22 wickets in just more than 4.5 sessions which comes at an average of 4.8 wickets per session. At this rate, 40 wickets in 9 sessions (3 days) looks a huge possibility!
