I think the issue is being made about this because Tim Paine said that with such confidence that Australia was certainly gonna win there.

Our captain was 16 days old the last time the Aussies lost over there. Can you blame him?

* indicates declared or unfinished innings

Australia's lower order/tail ended up scoring 100+ or close to 100 runs 5 out of 7 times.
India's lower order/tail did the same 2 out of 5 times (not counting the 2nd innings of 3rd and 4th Test)

Tim Paine pointed fingers at India's reported reluctance to go to Brisbane for the final Test as one of the instances of the visiting team trying to distract them. Australia were beaten at the Gabba as Paine's side lost the 4-Test series 2-1 to India.

Atleast our players did not insult their physio and called their Captain as someone trying to create unnecessary drama by speaking stuffs in the media or referred the dressing room for taking a DRS!!!!

The Aussies(Australian Cricketers) better not speak of creating sideshows because this is something that they've done on the field for years!!!!!

Look who's talking about 'distractions' and 'sideshows'. First of all, Indian players never publicly spoke about not going to Gabba.

The tour still went ahead in the same venues and this idiot should remember that India played a 3rd string side in that supposed "Aussie fortress" that Paine was so chest thumping to Ashwin about, in Sydney. Despite all that, India won the series fair and square. In 2018/19, they said "India won because Warner and Smith ain't there". Now this! Ha ha... Paine is such a wailing cry baby.
