India tour of Bangladesh, 2022 (3 ODIs, 2 Tests)

DRS is for ONE single thing and that too cannot be completed because its down for some inexplicable reason. Horrendous from whoever is controlling it. That looked close.

Well, India have scored 54 runs in the last 10 overs. Runs have been coming far too easy in this partnership. Good for India; not so much for Bangladesh.

Congratulations and thank you Gill for brushing aside the KL's chances to be in XI once Rohit returns to the side.

Oh buddy, I like your optimism, but you better brace yourself for some shock

On another note, why in the world would you play a risky reverse sweep in the nineties?

And just throw your wicket away after scoring a well deserved century. Almost like he didn't care anymore and was content with it.

Nah, there was a drinks breaks some time before the wicket fell so there would have been an instruction to press on and hence such shots. Pujara playing some aggressive shots by his standards only adds to it (SR is 60+).

That said, I am surprised to see Virat coming in at #4 if thats the idea; not because he cannot score quickly as Pant but because he struggles against spin. Also, Pant being a left hander would have loved to take on the left arm spinners with the ball coming into him. It would have been easier for Pant to negate the spinners compared to a bewildered looking Kohli.

IKR, that shot required a lot of confidence to play in the nervous 90s. Good that it came off otherwise it would have looked silly of him getting out twice playing foolish looking shots.

Truly special innings from Pujara. Changing his usual style to play as per the situation. Take a screenshot of the scorecard, guys. You don't see Pujara scoring a hundred at the SR of almost 80. Its as rare as Dravid's fastest fifty.

He would have to wait to reach 7000 run mark (16 runs required). A century after 52 innings! He would be so relieved after getting out scoring 70s to 90s all this while. Absolute exhibition of batting against spin bowling from him.

About time Pujara, well deserved.

Although I would liked them to continue and get the rest of the batsmen some batting practice given that there's 2 full days to go after today.
