I saw the prediction as 40% precipitation between 11am & 2pm, 80% between 2 & 3pm, 40% between 3 & 4pm while no rain from 4pm onwards. I guess we can easily get atleast 4 hours of play. Enough to force a result.

That's Joseph Rootalitharan, and he's about to bowl England to victory as the main spinner on a fifth day pitch.


He's the main batsman and catcher, why not that too?

Well even I am confused since last 3 days that which team is rain trying to save. Both teams are finding ways to lose this match.

England have looked better after that 2nd innings.

Anything over about 35 overs of play should be enough for India (Pant) to have the chance to force a result. Anything over 45 should be enough for England. Fewer than that and this has draw written all over it

Draws should really count as a win to the home side. The visiting team has failed to overcome the conditions as well as the hosts.
