India tour of Ireland (2 T20Is) & England (1 Test, 3 ODIs & 3 T20Is)

With Ashwin not playing in the Warmup and Jadeja bowling like this I see Ashwin continue to sit on bench just like the last series.

I just hope we somehow get to bowl again in this game and see how Ashwin goes about in the 2nd innings.

Not Root, not Stokes but Jonny Bairstow is going to be the man who might trouble India in the one-off Test. From the recent New Zealand series, it's clear that he has been given the role similar to what Brendon McCullum had playing for New Zealand.

We didn't have KLR bat in any of the innings. That's quite strange IMO.

Edit: Ok so KLR is injured and won't be a part of this tour. Now that's a massive blow!

Visiting teams seriously need to stop testing in the absence of clear symptoms. England apparently don't test, so they get an advantage by never losing a player to an asymptomatic infection.

Marcus Trescothick and Ben Foakes have both tested positive this week. I don't know if that's only done because of symptoms or not. I would guess if one person does they would test everyone.

I mean, what is the chance that visiting teams have randomly far more infections? Has to be a difference in testing
