McCullum's going to get a duck, Guptill's going to fail, and Yuvraj is going to score a match winning hundred.(I've been good at jinxing people recently, hopefully this one'll work as well :P)

He might not have scored a hundred but you must be a feeling a little silly right about now :p.

What a match. Bows and salutes to the legend, Sachin! Only if he wasn't hurt, he would have got a Double ton! Mayhem by Yuvraj, Dhoni and Raina at the end. Brilliant efforts. Feel really sorry for Southee for giving away 100 runs. But still, wonderful match so far.

You`ve got to feel sorry for the Kiwis here. They tried their best but the lack of options clearly showed.Tendulkar yet again showing that he can still play these knocks.Greedy fans would however be disappointed that he could not go on and maybe get a double ton.

The real big knock for me was Yuvraj`s.He just upped the tempo when there were suggestions that this might be a two-paced track after India lost Gambhir and `The Monk`! The hitting ability of this Indian side is quite unbelievable.Tendulkar was`n even batting at his best today,to be brutally honest.Yuvraj and Raina are two of the cleanest strikers in World Cricket,at the moment.

I think NZ will give us a good fight.... Coz the ground is so small that Sachin got into his "90's mould" and was trying to hit sixes almost every ball. Whenever they hit it in the air, I was so confident that it would clear and most of the time, it did.....

But still, its a mighty huge total and our bowling is quite discplined and so, I back India to win this 62-38.

I think with ~60-40 odds, you're giving New Zealand more credit than they deserve. India should win this 90-10, if not more. You're forgetting the psychological effect on New Zealand after being smashed around like that. Also, the New Zealand bowlers did a horrible job today. They didn't bowl a single bouncer until the 45th over. A lot of the balls were half volleys and pitched on the leg too. I don't know what they were thinking.

Geeez 392 that is the highest score in ODI in NZ and probably the highest OD score in NZ as I don't remember any touching that. I think it shows how far ahead India seem to be in the batting department compared to us and maybe even SA.

Spineless performance from NZ. India batted very well but the pitch and small ground is not worth 392.

I agree with Ian Smith about how our bowling attack (outside of our spinners) are all exactly the same 130-135kph right arm line and length bowlers no variation. They are picking a new squad for the last 2 games and I am wondering how many of the bowlers that are playing today will survive. I would play 2 spinners with a left arm seamer (Franklin or Thompson).

Oram
Franklin
Vettori
Mills
O'Brien (Only because Butler is injured)
Patel

Would be my bowling attack.

McCullum better get a huge century in the chase and he better hope we win this, because his captaincy was a joke, not only should he never be in line to captain New Zealand againy, he should be dropped from the side as he hasn't done anything notable since the he got 97 against England at Lords

Only words I can utter is,

" Sachin!!! Sachin!!! Sachin!!! Sachin!!! Sachin!!! "

As simple as that :hpraise:hpraise:hpraise :)

NZ going pretty well here actually. If Ryder and McCullum can stick it out they have a good chance with people like Guptill and Taylor coming up.

Looong way to go though! NZ can and will give a tough fight if they maintain with the current situation. Anything can happen in between. Who knows?

NZ have started superbly and now with the batting powerplay,350+ scores do look chasable.India need a coulple of wickets now.
Ryder looks a decent player though.

New Zeland doing the same thing that India did earlier though difference would be only Bhajji's 10 overs. McCullum has gone for Ryder over Patel but this pitch certainly has something for slow bowlers.
Dhoni dropped Ryder and Ryder hit a massive. Typical moments, i guess.
