I feel Badani could have been in the match instead of Laxman.
Badani at no.7 and Powar at no.8 the match could have gone in India's way.
Badani and Powar can hit those huge sixes which Laxman rerely does.

I feel ne1 cuda batted instead of ganguly if india had a few more balls, they may have only ended up 5 or 6 wickets down.

Shabbir Ahmed needs to be replaced by Saqlain Mushtaq. Slow bowlers are the key on flat, slow tracks in pakistan. I cant see a 3rd pacer (i.e. Rana Naveed ul Hassan/Shabbir Ahmed) doing too much damage to the indian batting order (same with razzaq but he is needed as a batsmen). Saqlain is a class act, his one day record against India speaks for itself. One could argue that 2 Offspiners (Shaoib Malik + Saqlain) wouldnt be a good idea BUT we must consider that they are very different bowlers.

Saqlain: A world class bowler, with great variety, agressive in nature, wicket tacker, bowls well at the slog overs.

Shoaib: Little variety, defensive bowler, slows run scoring, wont take many wickets.

So the overall team should be:

Taufeeq Umer/Yaseer Hamid
Shahid Afridi
Yousaf Youhana
Inzimam
Younis Khan*
Abdul Razzaq
Shoaib Malik
Moin Khan
Saqlain
Shoaib Akhtar
Mohammad Sami

Younis Khan could be replaced by Yassir Hameed and he can bat no 3 if they want to play taufeeq umer.

Th way Zaheer is bowlin, india will have a very weak side. I hope he gets his act together and bowls his line and length. Balaji also needs to improve. But his batting in the 2nd odi was excellent! This means that india have 7 specialist batsmen and 2 guys who can bat a bit.
