Minnows can be dangerous at times but then we need to see how our reserves are doing. Ashwin is a fantastic bowler and what is he doing in the team, bringing drinks for the team! He should be given a chance in today's match, Harbhajan has been economical so far in the tournament but being economical is just not enough, he needs to pick up wickets. On other hand, Chawla did so well in the practice matches but so far in the tournament he hasn't been impressive. Ashwin needs to be given a chance just to know how is he doing with the ball, if he is bowling better than Chawla then he should obviously be picked to play against South Africa. We're not going to get any chance to try out our reserves in super 8. This is the best time to try out our reserves or else they'll be brought in the team straight away in a crucial match (if needed) which will put a lot of pressure on them to perform and they'll be not under much match practice so today's match is the only chance to try out our reserves.

Lol, I'm a rare sort of guy who actually dislikes Sachin. I hate all the hype he has, but 100 hundreds is something everyone wants to see, even I wish to. And when he is in prime form, performing for the side and not just wasting a slot so there is no point in resting him.

And yes, I do stop watching matches, but only when Sehwag gets out. I don't care a damn to Sachin.

Nah, he isn't leaking runs at all, just isn't being able to grab some wickets.

I actually thought that Bhajji may bag a 5 wicket haul against The Netherlands and so got him in the side!

We need him to fire in the remaining two matches because those two teams have comparatively much better bowling attack then any of the teams till now India faced. Those will be very important matches.

If thats the case, most likely he will be out of the team very soon. Seeing the way he is bowling right now, it will be a matter of months before he could be out of the side. Ashwin is breathing down his neck, and Ojha is waiting in the wings.

He's always enjoyed facing the Kenyans though... Shame they aren't in group B. Sachin's scored 4 centuries against Kenya in only 9 innings against them! By comparison, it's taken him 50-odd innings to score 4 centuries v SA.
