India

Its a good thing that Sachin scored his big innings against a stronger side, England, whereas he hasnt set the stage on fire against the smaller (minnow) sides. By that criteria, he should be due a big one against South Africa on Saturday:D:thumbs

He should, If India have to win then we would need more from our opening order and from him. Still not trusting India's bowling.

I have a nice feeling that our bowling will start coming good very soon. There has been enough debate about our lack of good bowling resources and how we are not favorites anymore due to that. It might aggravate the boys to perform better in the coming games, especially against the big guns who will try to go after our bowlers. As Dhoni said, when the opposition is laid back, our bowlers arent fiery enough. But once the batsmen start coming at us, we will get back our aggression and will probably transform for good. I am putting my money on it happening, lets see

Exactly. Harbhajan has actually been bowling well but he is unlucky to not get wickets and the Indian team needs him to take wickets. Wont be surprised to see him taking a five - for against South Africa. :p

Cricinfo : If WI beat Eng, Eng beat Ban, WI beat Ind, Ire beat WI, SA beat Ind, Ire beat SA, SA beat Ban & Ire beat Neth, Ind could still miss out.

Cricinfo are being too polite to Ireland. :p

Time to get scared kids, Uncle Yuvi is back in form

Three things which aren't gonna happen.

impossible...ind have good NRR
wi beat eng.. then ENG need big win vs ban....
from cricinfo pt of view...the prob is for ENGLAND only...not india.

NO PROBLEM INDIA MAKE IT TO QUARTERS....

Predicting a bad game for us against South Africa on Saturday. Somehow I feel we will be absolutely caned in this game. Seeing our complacency against the smaller sides so far and Dhoni's stubborn resistance to public opinion on the changes he needs to make (watch out, he will continue to pick Chawla and will say Ashwin is mentally tougher and so doesnt need a game, my foot:mad), we might be in for a rude shock. Also SA would be so eager to put that Chennai defeat to England to rest.

SA to win handsomely!
