India

:noway

Sachin walking is not good. If he was sure that he was out then he should have waited and forced WI to consume their one review which might have helped India in some other controversial decision(though it was not necessary in this match). I am dissapointed . I hope he thinks twice before he walks the next time. Umpires are their to make decisions , let them do their job .

He did something which made us respect him even more, I thought there was nothing wrong. Don't be so desperate to win.

2011 World cup final , 365 to chase down and he nicks one which might escape the UDRS as well . It would be interesting .
:)

Spirit of the game !
Don't give a damn about it. No team really cares. See what the spirit of the game did to the West Indies in the 1987 World Cup. Walsh did not run-out the last Pakistani batsman. The Windies crashed out !

That was the spirit of cricket instead of your so called impact of the DRS.
You being a fan of Sachin, I didn't expect you to be unaware that he has the record of bluffing the umpires the most number of times when he is actually out.

Sachin and spirit of cricket - a big joke! :lol

I think the DRS will make many more batsmen walk to avoid the embarrassment if they're given out after review (In case of clear edges), I don't think Sachin would have walked if it was an important match or India needed 2 to win with 1 wicket in hand. :p

India needed 2 to win with 1 wicket in hand.
Nobody would have done that.

But the thing which surprises me is that when Sachin walks even when he isn't given out, there are so much discussions on it. Players like Gilchrist, Sangakkara, Lara and even Sehwag (thrice - twice in the 90s) have done that, nothing new!

:facepalm
I can't give a damn about that silliest post ever. And what the last line us meant to be without any solid reason shows the immaturity and jealousy behind it.
And really bluffing.:rolleyes

Well that wasn't an important match, sachin walked and received 10-15 comments of appreciation. He didn't do anything wrong and none of them who appreciated it did any wrong.
I myself have said earlier that no player (including him) would've walked if it was an important match.

Until everyone praises Sachin, it's fine. But if someone says something against him, which actually is the truth then it turns out to be the silliest post - wow!

Even I do appreciate that he walked, but as I said earlier too, why do such things get a special attention when Sachin does them and go unnoticed when someone else does the same thing.

Some fans of Sachin just cannot appreciate other players and feel that Sachin is the best in all formats of the game in all the departments!

I won't be surprised if some guys start saying that Sachin is the best fielder and also the greatest bowler ever. :rolleyes

jealousy behind it.
Yes, you are right, I'm jealous. I'm jealous because the other players (especially Sehwag) are always overshadowed by Sachin even if they perform far better than him.

And the silly fans of Sachin in Mumbai, those who claim that he is the God and want India to lose if he gets out cheaply just piss me off. :facepalm

I still remember the 2003 WC final, our society had arranged a huge screen for the final. When Sachin got out on 4, some went back their houses and some were chanting for Australia as they did not want India to win because Sachin got out cheaply. I find such fans absolutely lame, it's a shame to even term them as 'fans'.

Set 300 target, take out Sehwag and put Sachin into bat. He will start shivering.

^ Yes, I completely agree with Yudi.
I have an Indian friend who expects 200 from him every single game.:facepalm

Some people just don't get the fact that he is a human.
