Indian Premier League - General Discussion

Watson is a medium pace bowler, won't do anything different than chahar

He has done well to stem the flow so far and got a big wicket (Gayle). Also being an overseas bowler, he was given more respect than the Indian bowlers and that helps. :D

200+ is a surety here. How much above 200 is to be seen. CSK would do well to keep it in the 200-210 range.

Looking for Finch to come in and get a quick fire 40-50[DOUBLEPOST=1523806997][/DOUBLEPOST]

Wait a minute.:facepalm

CSK continue to look very ordinary on the field, displaying pretty poor body language while fielding and not showing the intent to save crucial runs. We are very lucky to be 2-0 up in two games so far. Same for bowling where we keep feeding absolutely hittable deliveries despite leaking runs. What's the use of experience then?

Not sure when CSK's luck will run out. Hope it (the luck) carries them into the playoffs.

Gayle Storm in Mohali.

Not the best start for CSK, with both Watson and Vijay gone! Billings and Rayudu need to consolidate here and ensure they dont fall behind the required rate by too much. But as usual, I am confident CSK will take it to the stage where they need 45-50 off the last 3 overs and then will try to blast their way home.

I have the same question, Jadeja is in pathetic form and sending him ahead of in form Bravo is a stupid decision.

Earlier too they should have sent Rayudu to open and not Vijay. Vijay is no more a T20 player. Bravo can't always come out and score 20 an over surely.

No chance for CSK unless someone comes up and plays a blinder. At this stage Bravo should've been out smacking the ball with five overs to go and putting pressure off CSK.

Yeah look how wonderfully Sir is playing. He has scored 7 already off 10 deliveries which is so quick![DOUBLEPOST=1523814684][/DOUBLEPOST]

It has, today and they only have themselves to blame after some stupid decisions. Dhoni too seriously needs to reconsider his role, he seems to have past it, sadly. Being a Dhoni fan, it is paining and disheartening to say that but it seems the truth.

I wish CSK don't run into the same luck today. Dhoni has a stiff back but he looked similarly tired last game too. If so, why is he even playing? He can rest some games and let others play. This is very early stages in the tournament for him to expend all his energy.

This game is done and dusted, almost! I wish this game makes CSK rethink their strategy of approaching a chase. A defeat or two is not at all bad at this stage and will only help CSK regroup.

Dhoni seems in pretty bad shape, have never seen him limping and if he is limping something is really wrong. Also CSK's biggest mistake was Jadeja in place of Bravo.

For some reason I am not like Ashwin and his over the top celebrations. Is it me or is it my love greater for CSK?
