Indian Premier League - General Discussion

I will take you up on that. Finch can't save his life for hitting biggies once the PP is over. Put a quality spinner on and Finch is clueless.

Please refer to 2013 ODI series against India where he made both Ashwin and Jadeja clueless that too at home

:lol

He is a sort of a very serious guy who hardly laughs on the field

He’s always been a very ‘intense’ cricketer ever since he debuted, and is apparently the same as a person too usually. Given the unorthodox things that he comes up with usually, he has to lighten up a bit surely. Would make him a lot more likeable than he currently is.

Khaleel has been really impressive lately and more importantly seems to have a good head above his shoulders. Got hammered by in the first three balls but comeback well to dismiss Narine and Gill in back to back overs and the use of slower deliveries by Khaleel were really effective today.

Warner and Bairstow will undoubtedly be badly missed by SRH. Guptill and Williamson cannot emulate what that duo has done for SRH this season.

I said that in terms of who consistently generates more power during their batting. Finch is much more likely to perform consistent power hitting because that is the style that comes naturally to him and Kohli is much more likely to start by timing the ball and then start power hitting once he gets settled.

Out of the remaining 4 matches KKR have 2 vs MI against whom they have a very poor record both home and away. So chances of them making the playoffs are actually quite bleak unless someone else steps in and provides substantial contribution alongside Russell.

They haven't beaten MI since 2015. MI have won 8 in a row against them, similarly Chennai have won 8 in a row against RCB and they look like making it 9 today

If PP doesn't get out, Moeen Ali might not bat!

Which just shows how terrible RCB’s thinktank has been. Why would you demote the one player who actually plays in the middle order well?

That yorker by Steyn to Suresh Raina was just fantastic!!!

That delivery was so much effective that it has fired up the entire side all of a sudden. This is what people wanted from this side right from the start of the season.

Omg another instance when the ball it the stumps and bails doesn't come off
