Indian Premier League - General Discussion

Really good match! Exposes KKR's bowling issue. Hopefully batting can cover that up a bit.
Cummins didn't look that great in the last couple of matches in England.

Just watching Morgan in the field, seems to be doing what he does with the England bowlers, just going through plans etc. Really good for the young ones. Huge asset especially with his batting form.[DOUBLEPOST=1600876506][/DOUBLEPOST]Hardik's done a Bairstow.

I feel, I am not going to have a good week. First the Giants lost in NFL and now KKR does not look good although Morgan and Russell are yet to come.

What a crappy start for kkr... The issues seem to be glaring. The bowling which they were supposed to have fixed don't look like they are fixed

And as expected, Narine looks clueless against quality fast bowling. Gill dint look very comfy out there either under scoreboard pressure.

7 off 10 and 9 off 10 for openers in an almost 200 run target is poor

They are giving way too much respect to Pollard. 126 in last 10 is going to be tough. Need to step on now! Dont be like CSK!

Really wanna see a Morgan special. Doesn’t seem like it though.

What's up with people having awkward stances these days? Saw Hardik planting his front foot outside leg stump while his back foot on the off stump. And on top of it he was standing inside the crease so not surprised he got out hit wicket. Anything in between his legs and Yorker length he would get bowled and anything short at pace makes him a prime candidate of getting caught at mid on/mid off. Not to forget he can get out lbw as well. All modes of dismissal possible. :p[DOUBLEPOST=1600883242][/DOUBLEPOST]Btw a very good yorker from Bumrah to get out Russell. Some fine bowling from him today.

Really pleased for Bumrah. Hoping he carries this form through.

Absolutely no power hitting today , first that stupid hit-wicket of Hardik & then Russell . Shit !

Hardik's stance is to help turn those yorkers into full length balls that he can smash and was key to his success last season. It was shown on Hotstar that his strike-rate is the worst against good length deliveries for pacers, very unusual as it is usually dispatched by anyone else in the regular stance.[DOUBLEPOST=1600883654][/DOUBLEPOST]

That is a bit harsh, loved those Rohit pulls and hooks personally.

His stance was a bit different today. It was more of a closed one today.

Looks like MI forced all their frustration against KKR for their loss against CSK. :D
