I am no one to say what had happened on the field. But, if I look from his perspective then he is right from his POV and we are are no one to judge him by just looking at what someone else has got to say. Both of them are right in their places.

So CSK have made it to Playoffs with 3 games to go. I won't be surprised if CSK wins the next one and we have Pujara and Uthappa opening in the last couple of games.
Took it too close there! I know the pitch is tacky and all, but these guys should've finished it off well. I really liked how Bishop made fun of Raina for staying on the back foot for a slow pitch like this. Raina is done and dusted, and its his great fortune that CSK dont need him or Dhoni to contribute ABSOLUTELY anything with the bat. If CSK really need another left hander in there, might as well play Sam Curran as a specialist batsman for Raina. Great show to win 4 in 4 though, this is possible the most commanding in all seasons that CSK has looked and its absolutely insane that this is coming at a time when CSK's highlight pieces in their celebrated history are approaching their farewells. Great job by Fleming, the think tank and Dhoni for fixing the issues of last season emphatically enough to effect a 360 degree turnaround. Still hope we have all the gas left in the tank to grab that title. Maybe a glorious farewell for Dhoni-Raina?

Gayle has possibly played his last IPL game with him leaving the bubble. I have said this before and I repeat again, we need to do something about CRICKET as a sport. This sport is played way too much with 3 formats and the domestic leagues. With Covid staying and being part of our life now, its not life as usual and will never be. I still feel that the sooner cricket gets rid of 50 over format and the world cup as well, the better it is. T20 and Tests should be the only formats for cricket.

COVID might stay with us forever, but I don't think the bio bubbles will stay on forever. There is a strong hope that we reach endemic stage mid next year and if that happens, the bio bubbles will be gone. There is no way any sport can survive on bio bubbles forever.

Would still want to see how DC go about their chase. They just need one good partnership to seal the match.
But Krunal have done well with the ball thus far and Jayant's experience can come useful to us. Most importantly Bumrah is in a terrific form. Wouldn't write off MI yet. 130 is a decent score on this surface.
