Ikr! The entry was at 3pm while returning only at around 1am and the arrangements for food wasn't really pleasing. It was a great atmosphere inside the stadium but the hassle to get to and from the stadium in the traffic was a bit too much. Pre-booking the parking spot, cannot carry water (thanks to what has happened in the past at various stadiums) et al.

I would prefer watching the match from the comfort of my home any day. I would much rather watch a movie in theatres than be in a stadium to witness a match or a concert.

Exactly, the exits were too narrow to move for such a huge crowd, the parking issues were a let down too.

Only if they had built this stadium beside the GIFT city it would have been really comfy.
(GIFT city = kind of junction between Amdavad and Gandhinagar.)

Why would they shift the entire stadium to a different place? That's not really feasible but yes, looking how congested the area is especially with the metro and BRTS, the idea of making the world's largest stadium when we already had a decent stadium with proper shades at all stands especially the old Adani stand and then changing the name from that of a great leader of India (Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel) to basically the marketing manager for the PM didn't make any sense except for bringing the limelight to the home city of PM Modi.

The LSG kit is like someone typed 'design me an Indian cricket jersey from the early 2000s' into an AI and it puked that out. I DO like the colour of the helmets though.
