Russell bowled well but Yup.. He is merely a shadow of his prime days... He should make way for Roy/litton or even David W for that matter. Narine still handy with bowl so I won't axe him yet

One negative thing I will say about IPL (and PSL and potentially BPL(don't watch it but i assume is similar)) - a lot of sides feel like the need to have an oversea player for the sake of it and often is a waste of space. If your main star gets injured or pulls out what is the point of simply just adding another domestic Australia or the likes for the sake of an internaional replacement.

Is the pitch that bad? Of course not an usual gardens wicket but not a high road either... might change opinion if KKR makes home run.... very unlikely

Been seeing cricket matches at the gardens for 30 years. Never in its history has the wicket been so lopsided and flat. It used to be second to the 'G' in terms of ground dimensions but now it's easier to hit consecutive sixes than taking cover for the queen in a carrom game.
