Indian Premier League - General Discussion

Looks like 99 WC final repeat!

Sunset Loldrabad! Took a deserving spot from Rajasthan Royals by winning on fluke

IPL needs some serious decolonisation
17 seasons in and still have white cheerleaders

CSK had some locals dancing a few seasons ago when almost every other side had no cheerleaders. Wonder what happened to that.

SRH Batters are high or what? Dumb Idiots :/

KKR has Indian captain and Indian mentor who is being considered for the National team's coaching job. SRH on the hand is led by Pat Cummins who led the Aussie team that beat in the WC so there's an axe to grind for every Indian cricket team fan.

Well played Jay Shah.

Maybe not have cheerleaders? What is even the need of it, I never understood.
They were introduced to bring about a better in-stadia experience, at the beginning of the IPL, in 2008.

However, the BCCI hasn't done much to elevate the fans' experience of attending a match. If you look at CA, ECB and NZC, they have created specific positions for people to act as Customer Experience Managers. Should take a leaf Outta their books!
Looks like 99 WC final repeat!

I thought it might be a repeat of the 2017 IPL Final which MI won by 1 run vs RPS. This , though seems entirely different.

If either of Cummins or Klaasen were to fall now, SRH wouldn't reach 100.

Edit: Klaasen falls. Let's see what happens now.

REVIEW MASTERCLASS!

Cummins need to whack a few out of the ground to make the game remotely worth watching in the second innings.

KKR it will be then.

This is the same team that was scoring these many runs what they scored today in Powerplay itself.

As the old cliche goes Cricket is a great leveler.
