RCB hands over the captaincy reigns to AB De Villiers for the first 3 games. The main question is, who will open with Gayle as replacement for Virat and who will be replacing Rahul will be yet to be seen.

I saw somewhere that N Jagadeeshan will likely replace Rahul. And Mandeep is a decent opener.

N. Jagadeeshan is way more better keeper-batsman opening the innings. Hope he gets a chance to prove himself. He had a great domestic season for Tamil Nada in Deodar Trophy.

No. Not mentioned on iplt20.com. Secondly if they were tournament sponsor then the placement would've been same on every team's Jersey.

So Umesh Yadav, Ravindra Jadeja, KL Rahul, R Ashwin, M Vijay, I Sharma, I Pathan, C Pujara all not playing this IPL. To be honest I am glad. Poor chaps lke Ashwin and Jadeja have bowled 800 odd overs and fielded. IPL still will be awesome without those folks and they will get the much desired break

The thing that irritates me about the Indian cricket board, is how packed the schedules are. There is literally no rest for players. You need at least a month of no cricket before major tournaments like IPL etc.

No wonder so many players are injured or backing away, the cricket schedule is crazy!
