These boards have no shame (BCCI, ECB, ACB). The limited over tours of Bangladesh should have never been cancelled. ECB just showed that they have ample players who can take part in the international series while having few players released for IPL.ECB helping out the IPL and shafting the BCB.

I love IPL, but international cricket should never be sacrificed for it. I feel there is more to this. I feel BCCI might finally allow few smaller cricket names to participate in the 100 next year perhaps..?? Who knows!

Not defending the boards here, but COVID protocols and the the pressures of a bio-bubble might have had a role to play here. These boards have no shame (BCCI, ECB, ACB). The limited over tours of Bangladesh should have never been cancelled
Slightly odd that some news outlets are reporting England as having postponed indefinitely yet the ECB website gives the new date as March 2023.ECB helping out the IPL and shafting the BCB.

Am I the only one who read that as Dhamal?
They got to play the right combo, which, under Virat is a massive question mark!Would be surprised if RCB don't take the trophy this year with this team
From where did you get all this info?A week ago, the tender for addition of new cities was announced. It seems they have trimmed the list down to 6 cities and have put up a base price of INR 2000 crore.
On what basis have these 6 cities being shortlisted? Some articles quote sources saying that the league was imbalanced and hence the East, North balancing act. Which corporate conglomerate, in their right mind would invest INR 2000 crore (base price) for these cities(bar Ahmedabad)? I think the move is heavily political and perhaps aimed at the fact that only one city can be brought in.
- Ahmedabad
- Dharmasala
- Lucknow
- Ranchi
- Cuttack
- Guwahati
Per the original document, it seems the other cities in the fray were:
All these cities are way more popular and advanced as compared to the above list of 6 tier-4 cities. Really not able to understand the BCCI's logic here.
- Pune
- Nagpur
- Rajkot
- Kochi
- Vizag
