Starting the games an hour earlier might help with the dew. But it does seem the host broadcaster has some clout to not to let it happen

There seems to be absolutely no let up for teams that lose the toss! And this heavily underscores what a shitty performance SRH gave despite winning the toss and bowling first!

We could be in for a really long IPL!

The IPL has become a big fat Indian wedding. Lot of glam which no reasonable person really gives a damn about. At least a cricket tragic or purist like me does not.

There are much better products out there which are faster paced and better contested. This farce of the toss has been going on for a long time. But, cash is king.

If we intend to not make the IPL an overkill and ensure it's the marquee cricket event of the year then it needs to consistently improve. We are going in the other direction. One day, people will get fed up of the product and move on.

Those time outs are just hilarious for me. The speed at which ads come on are ridiculous. The funny thing is that you can still make money (probably more) by opting a less is more approach.

I am now regularly finding myself skipping IPL games. CSK games only.

Except MI games, a few bits here and there, it's been 15 years and yeah the intensity of ads after 2018 with Star has been atrocious.

Coming to watching the IPL , I have watched like a total of 11 overs of all the matches played so far. (Mostly scores).

Hopefully by the end of tournament will complete 20.

I think he looks to have a pretty good technique and I guess he could play well in the longer forms of the game. Maybe perhaps he isn't suited for IPL & T20 Cricket as a whole.

Ironically, when I heard about him in his early days he was a pretty aggressive batter in the domestic Circuit.
