Indian Premier League - General Discussion

Watch out for Ramandeep Singh and Rashik Salam in the IPL auctions.

CSK should get someone long term. Bhuvi might not be the best choice. However, agree that he's a far better option than Chahar.

I think they will target a long term option. But Bhuvi is a very good short term one, where he can team up with Pathirana for death and also lead in PP. And can potentially play a full auction cycle.

I hope CSK can try for Chetan Sakariya. The boy wants to play for CSK, he is a good death bowler, a long term option and a left arm seamer in the mould of Mustafizur who did well for CSK this year.

I have a feeling they will still go after Tushar and Shardul here. They seem to have a good rapport with the captain and perhaps the fct that they all hail from the same state can act in their favour. Another name I am certain they will bid for is R Ashwin- he is in the fag end of his career and if he comes at a lower price than expected, Ashwin will be back in Chennai.

26 and 27 cr, too much...

Stupid GT didn't use RTM for Shami! Rabada, Shami, Rashid and Noor would be a dream quartet

So they didn't choose Shami at 10cr but bought Siraj for 12cr. I wonder who are they saving RTM card for?

The Punjab gamble worked then? Arshdeep come sin at 18Cr their purse lighter by exactly 18CR. What I don't get though, why did Punjab splurge on Chahal? Home town boy?

The Phil Salt auction is a weird and illogical one. I don't understand why KKR kept bidding for him when they could have simply swooped in with a higher amount on the RTM.

If you have the option of an RTM and around INR23 CR, you cant keep raising the paddle from INR 4CR to INR 11CR (as it's going right now)
