Chennai may bring in George Bailey to bolster the batting in Hussey's absence. I saw a couple of clips from him on Youtube and he seems like a very good T20 player, and has a bit of Ricky Ponting in him in terms of style. However, the four internationals I'd like to see in are Hayden, Morkel, Flintoff, and Mularitharan. Although i'm not banking on him to pick up wickets, I feel Murali can keep it tight in the middle overs and add variation to a predominantly pace based attack.
To partner Hayden, there are many options. There's Murali Vijay, who's in contention for the India spot. He's a very talented batsman and can score briskly, but from what i've seen of him is in the Laxman mould and might not fare well in T20's. I'm backing him to do well though. Abhinav Mukund was the U-19 star and Vijay's partner this domestic season. He steered Tamil Nadu to a win in the final with a very nice hundred as well. Parthiv Patel is an option, but I hate him and he can't field so the less said about him the better. Arun Karthik is also a talented youngster capable of opening up, along with Vidyut and Anirudha.
With the ball, Flintoff will spearhead the attack. He'll be backed up well by Lakshmipathy Balaji and Sudeep Tyagi, and maybe even Manpreet Gony. Albie Morkel will be an integral addition to the team, as he is a South African and knows the conditions better than anyone else. His batting is mighty as well.
