Indian tour of South Africa, December-January 2010/11

The runrate is going to be ABSOLUTELY crucial here. India need to keep them under 4 runs an over. If South Africa really take control of our bowlers, then India will have a day n a bit to chase 350 on the last day which will be quite tricky. Now the slower the run rate, the later South Africa will have to declare and then at least India would be closer to saving the series.

On a positive note, lets rip em apart. (wishful thinking)

Expecting a rocking Bhaj of a performance! He batted quite superbly to support Tendulkar in order to help India get this lead. His 40 today can prove to be gold. Hope he rips SA apart here and sets the game up for us.

Dont worry. We have done very well after that poor performance in Centurion and have come back so well. We can do it!

Forgot to post about Sachin's hundred. But, DO I NEED TO POST ABOUT IT?? I mean, how hard it has been to connect glorious complimentary words to everyone of this genius's milestone achievements? HATS OFF!

There is definitely swing, but it is too slow to cause any trouble to batsman. Thats why steyn has proved to be better than any bowler in both sides, he has the pace which a bowler needs on slow wicket.

Indians need to control the flow of runs. The proteas looking very comfortable.

Dhoni needs to introduce Harbhajan soon enough here. So far, Smith and Peterson are looking comfortable against Zak and Sree.

Did anyone also notice that post 145 Test Matches comparison between Kallis/Ponting and Tendulkar? (bad tht Lara wasn't included). Kallis' was the most impressive of those stats , and that no way accounts of his all-round abilities on top of that.

Kallis is currently only 35, if he continues to play cricket until 38/39, there is a very realistic possibility of Sachin's currently humongous looking stats being overhawled. Can't uderstand why he's not part of the Legends of Cricket bunch already!
