This is going to be a long long day for us on the field if we don`t get Amla now but law of averages is that he is due to fail at least once against us this year. I guess this might be it.

I think he`ll do alright as long as the other end is at least quiet. The problem here is that Sree has been crap. I don`t expect a lot better from Ishant either.

Sree bowls two pretty good balls to Amla, bout gorgeously put away for four with backfoot punches.

Might need to be a bit fuller to Amla, but the line for both was good. Sree finally got it right and was punished. Sigh.


Zak now, perfect line and length to Amla, just missed the edge.

Ball isn't swinging as much as Steyn was getting it to. Zak was getting good movement to the lefty but not so much to the righty. Sree's getting nice shape, but is wasting it and isn't getting the ball to swing from middle to outside off like Steyn did a few times yesterday.

And now Ishant on.

Ishant has touched the 136-137kph mark this over so far. Not his top pace but promising. If he can get decent rhythm going and hold an end up, it might not be a cakewalk for the SA batsmen.

That first over from Ishant looked so promising. Sreesanth was absolutely pathetic. Hope Ishant and Zaheer operate in tandem now for sometime and hopefully prise out 2 wickets before lunch.

The thing with Sree is that you could have him bowl the perfect outswinger and prise out a wicket the moment he comes back for another spell. You never know what to expect from that maniac.

Thats another one for Zak! Time to put some pressure on the in-form guys now. One more wicket before lunch and we will be in business. Hope Ishant can support Zaheer now.

I`m not watching this live but from what I`ve read on Cricinfo, Ishant is working up good pace and getting decent bounce. Its Sree who is bowling too many hit-me balls.
