I again notice that Sharma is working up decent pace here. He needs to keep this up and the wickets will come. If we can get a couple of wickets out of Sree and Ishant, we`ll be back in this match.

Even if Sharma might concede a few boundaries in the bargain, he should go for an all-out attacking spell of bowling here. All we want from him is a breakthrough here to put the Proteas on the backfoot.

We have a good day`s play in prospect if we can keep prising wickets regularly.

Are you watching the game? I AM! Ishant is bowling a pretty good pace (for an Indian bowler, touching close to 138) and has been on the money. Amla and Kallis played some gorgeous shots today off the good balls too to get boundaries off Ishant.

Kallis wicket was a bonus! That along with Peterson's wicket evens things out for the session. Good one for India! I wanted 3 wkts before lunch, and I have got it!

I think India's claim to best batting line-up is under serious threat, Amla, Kallis are like 2 giants to prize the wickets off, and then having to contend with aggresive Smith and DeVilliers.

I suppose there is more of me that would like to see India aquit themselves well in south africa, I feel they are a far better team than most people make out (the flat track bully, can't play swing etc etc)

I do like the south africans though, perhaps that's another reason, this is Tendulkar's, Sehwag's and Laxman's time, and they are such class players they deserve success. Saffers time will come, I can't see anyone being able to compete with them in 2 or 3 years.

Rare to hear that from a non-Indian on this forums. SA still on top though. Prince can be pretty stubborn and we need to get him before he gets his eye in. Harbhajan with his straighter one is a good bet against Prince. If Sree and Ishant can get it right, this can still be an awkward attack to face.

The thing with Sree is that you could have him bowl the perfect outswinger and prise out a wicket the moment he comes back for another spell. You never know what to expect from that maniac..

Good foresight there Adi! I too hoped Sree would do that and good that he did it. DeVilliers is a big wicket because he can score at a pace where India can't even think of saving the match.

HarbhajN can get bounce here, and he could do well when things are going well for us. Hope he clicks.
