^ India will loose all matches with an innings defeat and Harbhanjan will be top scorer. Sehwag will get hit on nose first ball of series by Steyn and will retire from cricket.

Yeah, thats you Sid. Good you're back at it. The last day or two, I missed this 'old Sid'.:p:D

Anyone who thinks Khan is the same level as Steyn needs to pull their head out of their ass.

This is a very important series.IND can start to justify their No.1 ranking if they can beat SA.

Agreed that the Indian pace attack is not on the same level as the Saffers' but they're not complete pushovers either. I think it'll be an intriguing series, and I sincerely hope that we have learned from the last time we toured there. If we apply ourselves, we have the capacity to win at least one of the three Tests, though Durban has the potential to be a confidence-sapping nightmare given the tracks that are usually produced there.

I wouldn't mind if we came out with a draw, because we have a better chance of winning in England and Australia, I reckon, than in South Africa, to solidify our #1 position and give it some legitimacy. But a decent showing in South Africa is a must.

India have absolute no grounds for any complaints about any decision in this series after the BCCI forced us to not have UDRS for this series.

Also will blame the ICC for that. A spineless organization thats influenced by money power and does not have the balls to implement the UDRS for all international matches.

AB to shine. Can't see Ojha getting more than 2 wickets and expect Zaheer to bowl around 10 overs an innings.

Can somebody tell me exactaly rules regarding this?? Is this suppose to be up to the home board or do the two teams need to agree??

The decision is with the home board but in consultation with the touring country. The problem is, if CSA decide to ignore BCCI's request not to use UDRS, they could put their relations with the BCCI in serious jeopardy (the BCCI will then threaten to not tour SA and not have SA tour India and so on, and that will hurt SA money wise because we are the richest board and a booming cricket country economically).

I am seriously pissed off with BCCI's arm bending tactics, but whats the bl**dy ICC doing?

- "India are not keen to use it"

aw!! BS. And you know what that means? Bring out the flat pitches CSA. I can already hear a India accent trying to make deal. "Make the bitches flat no?"

One of these days I'd like to see a top board stand up against BCCI, and just make their own flinging call.

Oh yeah come on... Now you're preparing yourself to devalue India's effort if they end up doing well/winning the series.

As of now usage of UDRS is not made mandatory. Not having UDRS does not mean that in a scenario where some very bad decisions are made, playing countries (or one on the receiving end) can't question the standard of umpiring.

ICC should not leave UDRS implication on the wishes of individual boards. Either have it or scrap it, as any board whose opinion differs from that of the majority would unneccesarily have to keep defending their stand to others.

The ICC cant do anything. Since its broken organisation & the BCCI is the defacto head of world cricket.

In a perfect world a strong ICC should be able to make every coountry use the UDRS, but they have just messed everything up.
