What will the result of the Test series be?

I've noticed Harbhajan bowls attackingly when he thinks the wicket has something to offer.

He was flighting the ball more than he normally does at Durban, whereas in the matches in India and Sri Lanka he kept darting them in, letting himself be milked for singles, before tossing the odd ball up. Ojha was doing the same thing.

His recent good spells have come on helpful tracks, and have featured him tossing the ball up more and slowing his pace down a bit.

It's an interesting tactic to say the least. All this talk and flak we (I) have been giving Harbhajan may be undeserved...maybe he hasn't lost his bite, and instead is bowling the way that he feels will get him the best results on flat pitches?

Or am I missing something?

Harbhajan is good when he gets bounce from the wickets, but the sub continent wicket have become so flat and the bounce is predictable, so he tends to be defensive or he will go for 4-5 rpo like in 1st test.

The thing with Harbhajan is if he gets a wicket early in his spell, he gains confidence and bowls superbly. On the other hand, if he doesn't then he leaks runs.

South Africa news: Imran Tahir eligible to play for South Africa | South Africa Cricket News | ESPN Cricinfo

Imran Tahir, the Nashua Dolphins legspinner of Pakistani origin, has been granted South African citizenship by naturalisation and is now eligible to play for the country. Tahir has also fulfilled the ICC's regulations for representing his new country, having not played for the country of his birth at any level for more than 4 years.

:cheers

Too bad we'll probably only get to see him in the ODIs...

Tahir, however, won't be considered for the Cape Town Test against India that begins on January 2. "That will not be fair on anyone since the squad has prepared, but he will be considered for the one-dayers," CSA's convenor of selectors Andrew Hudson told ESPNcricinfo.

Yeah India's worst nightmare. A leg spinner. :lol

Not when he started at the titans. He started as an opener and has batted most of his titans career either opening or number 3. He has batted mostly in the middle order for SA since that's where there was room in the side when he came through.

On boucher it really depends whether you want the best keeper or the best batsman keeper. Both heino kuhn and morne van wyk are better batsmen/keepers but boucher is still the best gloveman in the country.

Ok cool.

Dhoni wins the toss for a change, and he opts to bowl first. If we dont use the overcast conditions and the greener wicket on the first day morning, we will have a very tough game on our hands. Hope Dhoni's decision proves right for India. I thought they might bat first since this wicket could help the spinners a lot in the end and Bhajji could be handy in the 4th innings. But the green-ness of this pitch has put both captains in a toss and Dhoni had to take hold of a decision at the toss.

:lol
MSD wins the toss.
So we gonna bowl first now.We need to get the advantage from the bounce which pitch has bowled them under 200-250.
