In the last triangular series Sachin and Dravid opened for India. They defended well against the opening swing bowlers.
And Karthick!- He is simply not a good opener. He does not rotate the strike well, unlike Gambhir. He seems stuck at the crease. He should either bat in the middle order or come one-down.
Poor selection. We need a quality opener.
