Double BreakThrough!
( Still, Lara Continues his domination )

Well, Windies skipper continued dominating the bowlers. Smith tried Kemp for a change but did not work out. Boje abd kemp went only for runs. Smith brought back his one of the strike bowlers, Nel with Kallis operating in another end. Nel striked for SouthAfrica with two important wickets of Chanderpaul and Sarwan!

Chanderpaul, The Second Victim of Nel!

chanderpauloutsf8.jpg

In one of the deliveries of Nel, Chanderpaul tried to pull the bowler over the top but missed it completely resulting in ball striking the pads. There was a huge shout from the bowler and the wicket keeper and the umpire without any hesitation raised his finger quickly. The replay showed that it was going towards the middle stumps, prbly wud have easily taken the bails off!

Nel was delighted to get the breakthrough in the crucial stage. The entire SouthAfrican celebrated this as they were badly in need of a breakthrough. While, Chanderpaul walked back with a worried face. He was well settled and also was playing some gud shots but unfortunately dismissed in the crucial time.

Sarwan replaced Chanderpaul at the crease joining his skipper but he went to the dressing room with the same speed he came in as Nel striked with another wicket :p

Sarwan, Third Victim of Nel

sarwanoutse2.jpg

Sarwan was so enthusiastic to such a extent that he went over top in the very first ball he faced. The ball did not get enough height and distance which safely landed in Hall's hand who was standing near the boundary!

Nel was even more delighted to strike for the third time. Its another big blow for Windies as Sarwan is capable of hitting big ones especially in last stages of the game. Nel brought the needed breakthrough. The entire team was brought together once again for celebration of this wicket!

Sarwan was disappointed and returned to pavilion with head down. Two wickets down for Windies in two balls. Bravo replaced Sarwan at the crease and faced the hat tric ball and somehow managed to prevent the hattrick.

Meanwhile, Lara was not affected by the wicket falls in other end and continued dominating the bowlers.
He continued playing excellent shots all around the ground and accelerated the scorecard.

Well, 40 Overs ended and the game now entering the crucial stage. Smith and his bowlers are completely clueless of Lara's aggressive approach. With Lara entering the final stage of this innings, its dangerous for SouthAfrica. Its going to be interesting to see how Smith is going to handle this situation.

WI :- 214/4(40)
B.Lara : 127*(121)
Bravo : 2*(2)

Sarwan : 0(1) Dismissed by Nel.
Chanderpaul : 44(58) Dismissed by Nel.

Another Double BreakThrough!
( Lara Still At The Crease )

With Two quick wickets, Bravo was expected to give support to Lara. Nel and Kallis were bowling their last overs. Smith attacked a bit for Bravo and maintained his players mostly near boundary ropes for Lara. Nel striked in his final delivery of his last over(10th) with the wicket of Bravo!

Bravo, The Fourth Victim of Nel!

bravoouths0.jpg

Nel bowled an short pitched delivery and Bravo attempted an late cut but it wasn't properly timed that resulted in ball going towards the keeper ( actually it shd be the gap between keeper and first slip ). Boucher made an amazing dive to his side and took an amazing catch dismissing Bravo.

Nel striked for the fourth time and he was delighted a lot to strike in quick intervals in his second spell. Infact Nel picked three wickets in his second spell of four overs! Bravo made his way back to the dressing room. Hinds was the new batsman replacing Bravo at the crease.

Lara was bit frustrated as it was an unnecessary attempt by Bravo where he just needed to give strike to the skipper. But still, the music from Windies fans is still on... & added to this, SA fans have also joined this party as their team bounced back suddenly with the help of Nel.

Hinds Departs!

hindsoutim5.jpg

Suddenly, Smith brought back Boje to bowl in 45th Over. It suprised everyone as Boje went for runs in his first spell.

But Boje striked in his very first ball with the wicket of Hinds. As its a final stage of the innings, Hinds straight away tried to go over the spinner but was unsuccessful. The ball marginally failed in distance and Kemp took an excellent catch near the bondary ropes.

This time,Smith was more excited than the bowler. The entire team(SA) were once again brought together for celebration. It was very shocking for Windies fans and WI dressing room to see their team collapsing all of a sudden! Lara showed some signs of frustration towards Hinds. Hinds walked back to pavilion and Banks replaced Hinds at the crease.

Lara had a long chat with Banks not to throw away the wicket. Banks straight away took single and gave strike to Lara. But Banks went for two sixes in last two balls of same(Boje's) over! Smith was not happy with his bowler.

Well, 45 Overs ended. Windies have lost 4 wickets in last ten overs. But still, Lara is going very well and keeping on accelerating the scorecard. Smith is still looking to get rid of Lara with the help of his bowlers. Its going to be a great contest in last five overs between Windies skipper(Lara) and SouthAfrican skipper(Smith)! :)

WI :- 256/6(45)
B.Lara : 141*(134)
Banks : 13*(5)

Hinds : 4(9) Dismissed by Boje.
Bravo : 6(7) Dismissed by Nel.
Last 10 Overs : 73 Runs & 4 Wickets

winsome presentation there pal keep it up
