AUSTRALIA WINNING IN STYLE!​

Well, with just below 80 runs needed and seven wickets in hand, Aussies didnt find difficult to carry on! They were simply rotating the strikes and also getting boundaries also in regular intervals! Dravid was the most worried face seen on the ground!

Indian Fielding!

Also apart from bowlers, fielders also struugled... They were seen running most of the time chasing behind the ball! The batsmen also managed to pick the gaps perfectly and get runs....Also in many occasions, the fielders were helpless watching the ball going pass them!

Apart from these there were misfieldings also... Especiall when the pressure mounted on Indian team ( in the loosing stage ), fielders near the boundary were just making silly silly mistakes! Overall, the fielding display by India was only average!

MARTYN & PONTING ~ Took Aussies Till The Finishing Stage!

Martyn and ponting were giving troubles to the bowler continuosly and they were simply unstoppable! They made bowlers to confuse as to what length to bowl and they troubled the fielders in making them run behind the ball! They confused Dravid as what to do next! Overall they were simply dominating!

Harbhajan who was expected to be effective in this game was blindly going for runs! Munaf bowled his second spell slightly better than his horrible first spell! Also Pathan & Agarkar went for plenty!

The real problem was that frontline bowlers struggled and also the thing is only there were four specialist bowlers for India and so there was the problem of fifth bowler! Dravid with brave risk tried Yuvraj and Sehwag but the result was same.. Ponting n Martyn blasted them also!

So there was no real solution for Dravid to stop this fast scoring rate and the great thing about Aussies is they were maintaining the scoring rate above 6 right from the start! Slowly Indian's hope of victory looked impossible! Batsmen were maintaining the cool tempo in scoring runs!

PONTING's MAGNIFICENT TON!

With the runs flowing rapidly, Ricky Ponting, Australian skipper reached his century with a sweep shot for single! Well he felt very happy as Aussies almost won at that moment and proudly raised his bat to the crowd!

Ponting recieved standing from the crowd and also from the dressing room! His partnership with Martyn has really turned the game completely in Aussies favour!

Finally, The Victory Runs!

Atlast the victory runs came with a boundary from 234 for a four!

Both Martyn and Ponting were delighted a lot as they were able to finish the match in the 37th over itself! Both the batsmen gave warm handshakes to Indian players and the umpires and walked to the dressing room proudly!

Well done both Martyn & Ponting ! Indian players were disappointed and walked with head down!

So Martyn and ponting in the end managed to reach the target in 37th over itself taking their team to the great victory!
