S.G : Welcome to the cricket cafe, post match analysis show! We have Mr.Geoffrey, an cricket expert to discuss all the actions that took place! Welcome Geoffrey to the show! Whats ur general opinion on this match?

G.B : I can tell u just in one sentence that Australia played like champions!

S.G : Thats true, coming to the morning session which Indians batted, openers both Sachin & Viru getting off to a good start and where do u think that Indians played an poor cricket?

G.B : From the way openers batted, smashing Lee n McGrath, everyone shd have expected India to reach atleast 300... But 230+ is never going to enough in the condition where it seemed batting was comfortable today!

Also regarding the failure of indians, its not fair balme the openers as they did their duty of a great start nor the skipper who did the fantastic job! I only wonder what were other players doing? Yuvraj though looked promising departed off a ruuubissh delivery! Apart from these four, all other batsmen showed poor responsibility towards the team! It was just a ruubbish cricket played by Indian in last 10 overs!

S.G : Thats right Geoffrey! Even indian coach shd be worried about the triggering of other batsmen! It now looks like Indian team of 1996-97 where if Sachin plays, india gets to comfrtable else they fall like phone numbers!

G.B : Also Coach has to majorly teach the bowlers as it was just an uncompetitive cricket displayed by Indian team especially the bowlers!

S.G : yes, coming to back to second innings i.e Aussies innings, bowlers really struggled to get their line and length... Infact they had only four specialist bowlers and all struggled!

G.B : I really wonder what Indian bowlers were trying to do with the ball? they were really, first of all lacking confidence when bowling, secondly, they never ever tried to move the ball... About Harbhajan, oh.. i wonder what went wrong with him.. He was trying to bowl more arm balls which Aussies smashed all over... He wasnt getting the regular offbreak line correct!

S.G : Thats true, Line and length was poor today from Indian bowlers.. Infact Sourav seemed to get proper line today than Pathan... So something has to be done to get al the things right befor Chanpions Trophy!

Also the way Aussies started off with the bat was very impressive and right from the start they were on the Top of Indian scoring rate, here is the comparison,

G.B : here its eveident to see that Aussies were at the top and comfortable right from the start!

S.G : Also the partnership between Martyn n ponting was great! Infact Martyn was almost out of the team to give space for younger players but he proved today that he can still be effective irrespective of his age!

G.B : Martyn and Ponting were both impressive! About martyn there is no doubt that he is still talented and can carry on till WC07! But ponting done the initial damage and bowlrs till the end were not able to stop him!

S.G : That also proved skipper to be the best example for his teammates!

G.B :Again in one sentence, Aggressive and all over.. thats what graph also shows!

S.G : So its time now to end our analysis, before we go , we will bring you all the segments of today's match!

Firstly, Master blaster, no doubt that One man dominated thru out with his brilliant century! Ricky ponting is the StarSports Master Blaster!

G.B : i like to say few things,

* Ponting dominated all the bowlers
* Used front and back foot superbly
* Was aggressive all around the ground and set the best example for his team mates!

S.G : Thats correct Geoffrey, and thats the reason for this Master Blaster!

And now we now we move to safe hands award and that goes to S.Watson for taking an amazing catch to dismiss Sourav!

G.B : well Gilchrist also took an amaing catch to dismiss Agarkar but this impressed me a lot than that... Firstly, Ganguly struck the low full toss hard that went like a rocket to the fileder.. Watson timed the jump perfectly to cope up with the speed of ball and took an amazing catch!

S.G : Regarding Gilchrist's catch, well wicket keeprs wud be well aware that they have to make some great dives, but this one of Watson is more tough one than Gilli's!

And now coming to the last segment, Super Moment Of the Day!

Well its Martyn going wild against Harbhajan and that over is our Super moment of the day!

G.B : This over which Martyn smashed Harbhajan is really one of the great moments because it shattered the confidence of Harbhajan that forced him to commit mistakes! Its expected that spin might look dangerous to batsmen at start but this over made the main spinner of India to be effectiveless and so this has been selected as a super moment of the day!
