India's tour of Australia - December/January 2015

We don't have pujara/MSD to block it, though i would say vijay and kohli should go for it, and once one of them goes off, the other should anchor it and let others have a go for it, especially both rains and rahanae and see how it goes, if it doesnt click it should be blockage especially when Saha walks in someone should tell him if he plays one crazy lofted shot he is done for :p, also they shouldnt start going right after the break, just give 6 or 7 overs into the session then go for it.

Superman Smith Flies

Ohhh its exactly that way currently !

The only difference being both the fielder and the ball are flying in opposite directions :p[DOUBLEPOST=1420867364][/DOUBLEPOST]The match is heading towards a draw. Difficult for India to win from here unless they bring on their T20 form and Saha plays the unbelievable innings he played during the IPL finals.

If not, we should try to save this one. India does have a tendency to lose their ways in such situations.

Good stuff from Haddin there. Not enough of that kind of honesty in the modern game.

Don't think you can blame Marsh either, very hard to tell what's going on when you have such a short time to react, poor form by the rest of the guys with a clear view though.

What was interesting on that incident was before Dharmasena sent it up, he seemed to signal that he had given it not out, didn't see that on that bizarre Bhuvi incident, still think it was the wrong decision given what I saw on the combination of slow-mo, Hot Spot and Real-Time Snicko, but that might've been a purely 3rd umpire decision.

I think India did very well to keep the series margin to 2-0 considering that their bowling attack never looked like taking twenty wickets in a game, and they lost Dhoni in the middle of the series. I don't know a lot about Indian domestic cricket, but the selectors seemed to make some bizarre decisions, Ashwin should have played instead of K Sharma in the first test, and any bowler who struggles to break 120 needs more time before coming back after an injury.

Looking forward to the ODI's.

All said and done a 2-0, is about acceptable, perhaps the least acceptable option, but an acceptable one nevertheless. Bhuvi getting injured right at the start was a big blow, no doubt. The rest of the bowling unit were a huge let down.

Dhawan, under Kohli, will not find himself getting too many opportunities, I feel, especially in wake of (if reports are to be believed) Kohli not being the biggest fan of Dhawan's alleged overnight injury during the second test. While Dhawan's form makes it easy for any captain to drop him, the interesting thing to look out for is what happens to Dhawan in ODIs where he has been performing, once Kohli takes over, which could be right after the world cup;

I am quite looking forward to the ODI series, where I expect India to compete a lot better and of course it will give us a good idea of how the team will do in the world cup. In the ODIs some issues have to be sorted, but then overall India seem a much better ODI side than a test side.

Another aspect in the tri-series I am especially looking out for is just how does Kohli - Anderson round two feature on Aus pitches. Anderson won round 1 hands down in England, and I think Kohli may have a thing or two about that in Aus, especially with his fine form.

2-0 yet a much better performance from the Indian "batsmen" this time around.Still I am a lot sad on how our bowlers are performing.Even by getting great support from batsmen,they can't just bowl a consistant line and length even for 6 balls in an over.

Probably the worst test series held in Australia in a long, long time. A series of this magnitude did not deserve these sort of pitches. Should've prepared sporting wickets instead of the highways dished out.
