All said and done a 2-0, is about acceptable, perhaps the least acceptable option, but an acceptable one nevertheless. Bhuvi getting injured right at the start was a big blow, no doubt. The rest of the bowling unit were a huge let down.
Dhawan, under Kohli, will not find himself getting too many opportunities, I feel, especially in wake of (if reports are to be believed) Kohli not being the biggest fan of Dhawan's alleged overnight injury during the second test. While Dhawan's form makes it easy for any captain to drop him, the interesting thing to look out for is what happens to Dhawan in ODIs where he has been performing, once Kohli takes over, which could be right after the world cup;
I am quite looking forward to the ODI series, where I expect India to compete a lot better and of course it will give us a good idea of how the team will do in the world cup. In the ODIs some issues have to be sorted, but then overall India seem a much better ODI side than a test side.
Another aspect in the tri-series I am especially looking out for is just how does Kohli - Anderson round two feature on Aus pitches. Anderson won round 1 hands down in England, and I think Kohli may have a thing or two about that in Aus, especially with his fine form.
