India's tour of Australia - December/January 2015

Aaron approaching his ton ... this is not good at all. On the backfoot again

Its almost always a certainty that the tail would wag against us. Johnson will go on to get a big hundred here. 4-0, here we come.

If you can't back up your words with performance than you better stay quiet. Some really unnecessary chat with Johnson and now bowling absolutely horrible.

Yeah guess who it was? The guy we look up to, Kohli. Absolutely unecessary, he still needs to learn how to keep his emotions and words to himself on the field. I'm not saying there should be no sledging but be careful who you do it to. I haven't seen Johnson sledge Kohli once yet in this series but he has sledged every other batsman I believe be it just giving a prolonged stare or a couple words. Kohli is a great player and I have a lot of respect for him but what he did today was unnecessary and it totally ruined our chances to win this match. Now we will probably lose this match by the end of 4th day's play. Absolutely unnecessary and I hope he realized that by now.[DOUBLEPOST=1418955025][/DOUBLEPOST]

Absolutely unnecessary talk with Johnson by Kohli started all this.

I agree too. Surprising to see someone say that they don't like Ashwin's attitude. His attitude was never a problem. In fact the guy has loads of positive attitude in that he always is attempting to learn and improve himself. He is a very thinking cricketer too. He just needed to learn fast and stick to one thing instead of trying too many things out, and have a better approach to fitness and fielding. Its a matter of making decisions, and has nothing to do with his attitude.

At one point, I was disappointed with his overseas showing and wanted him to go back and work further on his skills, and it seems like he is putting work behind the scenes.

Yeah we saw how his bowling improved in the England test series as well. He got wickets there. He is bowling well, he just needs more exposure. Kumble and Harbhajan didn't turn into the bowlers they did in just one match. Ashwin is our best spinner right now and his only issue is he can do so much with the ball which is unfortunately his weakness at times as he doesn't know what to use at which time.

What the heck this game has turned to? :O Smith certainly had a devilish smile after reaching that ton. This match is been the same replay of what we had seen sometime before.:(

LOL, Kohli didn't ruin this. It was Ishant Sharma, who couldn't bowl to Dhoni's plan and let all the pressure we had built up go in 2 overs. Shocking bowling. It's unfortunate Aaron had to go off for a few overs with that shoulder niggle, because that's when we lost the momentum.

If you were watching the match every ball. Replays showed Vijay, Kohli, and Ashwin getting into Johnson's face. More specifically, Shane Warne even mentioned Kohli's name for instigating Johnson. It's also something that Kohli would be involved in because he has yet to learn a couple of things like on field emotions and stuff.[DOUBLEPOST=1418956239][/DOUBLEPOST]Now we will pay the price. Definitely 0-4 now. The longer Johnson stays out there its going to get to a 200 run lead for them and then we will be all out in 120. What an end to the test, just awesome cricket.

yea i was "watching the match every ball". i'm saying that it was such a minimal factor. what happened was ishant bowled 2 very loose overs and got johnson going, not the sledging.

I was asleep the time it happened. But on reading what you seen it reminds me the similar scene from tt world cup 2007, where Yuvi smashed Broad after having some words with Flintoff. I think these stuffs never ends, a batsmen or the leading men of the team inspires the oppnents' batsman and then poor bowler goes under massacre.:p

lol... india is like DBC game... take the top 4 wickets and then let the lower order and and tailenders score big @fiction :p[DOUBLEPOST=1418957165][/DOUBLEPOST]i miss jumbo if he did one thing effciently it was wiping the tail quickly

It's everything combined they shouldn't have sledged and Ishant shouldn't have bowled short that much, he should have relied on consistent line and length.

Johnson has almost damaged our team, lets hope he would get his hundred from here but India still strikes.:D

Yeah I think we are going to lose this match now. Unbelievable what they have done. Why does this always happen to our team? I just don't understand. We have chances to create history but theres always something that goes wrong at a critical moment.
