India's tour of Australia - December/January 2015

Now we see Dhawan in the dressing room, if he freaking came out 45 minutes earlier this thing could have been different I think. I also heard Virat Kohli was having some wrist issues in the nets this morning, Idk how much that impacted his batting. Thanks to Virat and Rohit for freaking sledging Johnson. The indian team did the same thing to Anderson in the England series with the Jadeja incident and that freaking woke him up.

India can only bat well once a game at most outside of India it seems

jeez will you let the sledging thing go already... kohli sledges because he can back it up with the bat. ishant and rohit shouldn't sledge, because they can't. but either way, india is shit, and you are making it seem as though unexpected batting and bowling collapses are not a part of indian cricket history, like it has never happened before, and could have been avoided if they didn't sledge johnson...

This Indian Team should plea to Sreenivasan not to have Oveseas Test from now on.

the musketeer, I will be proven right in about half an hour. We will be all out and lose the match by an innings and 2 runs. The indians have no one else to blame except themselves. Unnecessary banter with Johnson by Kohli, Rohit, Ishant, and more was just ridiculous and stupid.

Yeah.....

Why? We haven't been embarassed. We are playing poorly, but there is definite progress being made in the tours of South Africa, New Zealand, England, and Australia. It is just difficult to see and acknowledge with all the poor results, but there is a lot to be encourages by.

I still don't miss Bhuvi. Atleast we got to know now that Aaron needs a lot more work. I would still take a "tall and slightly faster" Ishwar Pandey over Bhuvi for these type of conditions. I still don't believe Bhuvi would have been a success in these conditions in test cricket. I believe he would have been thrashed as badly (if not worse).

If you really believe that the one guy who would have consistently bowled line and length and hit the right areas, albeit not gotten much movement off the pitch, would have fared worse than a bunch off bowlers in whose dictionary line and length didn't exist, and who were putting in as much thought into their bowling as a bunch of monkeys would do into throwing a stone, then you understanding of bowling is poorer than I thought it was. Makes all discussions about Bhuvi frankly futile given how little you seem to understand the importance of the basics of bowling.

What are ppl having a go at Dhawan for? The guy was injured coudn't bat. Can we all once and for agree that Rohit adds nothing to the side and once and for all drop him for good.

I'm ready to drop him and I really never had faith on Rohit. He has always ruined our progress in critical situations during test matches outside of India. I remember he didn't do shit in South Africa when we needed him, then he failed in New Zealand, and in England he threw his wicket away repeatedly. He never seems to bat with common sense in test matches. It's time for him to go.[DOUBLEPOST=1419037475][/DOUBLEPOST]I am really hoping for something miraculous to happen here even though theres no chance of it happening. Absolutely pathetic and I can't believe I am still watching the match. It's just the true indian in me that keeps making me watch this match.

he averages 13.40 in england, does that mean that he shouldn't sledge in england?

What are ppl having a go at Dhawan for?

106/5 isn't a good score, and that factors in Dhawan being not out retired hurt. Its not his fault that India are where they are at the moment; its the fault of Kohli getting out for 1, and Rohit Sharma and Dhoni getting out for ducks.

The biggest assets that India have while playing in Australia IMO are Ashwin who could bat at number 7 in an Indian team including Dhoni regularly and Aaron: who'll be pretty impressive on a bouncy Australian pitch. I post in a cricket thread on another forum that generally mock most cricket teams and players as being shit, and they've picked up on Aaron being good and don't understand why India are so reluctant to pick Ashwin most than they seem to do...

Yeah Bhuvi would have gotten Johnson and the tail out yesterday much quicker. He's really a reliable bowler and he wouldn't be doing the short pitch shit that Ishant was trying to do. Our bowlers can't sustain a consistent line and length to trouble the batsman and that's just the truth and that's exactly why we can't win overseas. We can rarely make history like at Lords but then we will ruin it.

Yes, yes, yes !

Someone lock him in his hotel bathroom and throw the key in Mount Doom, Mordor. I am willing to take the trip

I don't see how Shane Warne keeps saying Rohit Sharma has talent, I don't see the talent in Rohit Sharma at all.
