Every time I watch Umesh Yadav I get the feeling that he just doesn't have a plan B. Plan A is bowl fast and hard at the batsman's body. And if that doesn't work, or the pitch is slow, or you need something else for the conditions, he has no answers. His international career is young, and hopefully with more experience, his cricket intelligence will improve. But right now he doesn't look a very intelligent cricketer.
Of course, part of that is on the rest of the team, who are more experienced, to try to guide him on the days when Plan A doesn't come off.
