India's tour of Pakistan, 2008-09, 3 Tests and 5 ODIs

Play India-Pakistan matches at Dhaka, it will become exciting again :D

The Kitply cup matches were exciting enough though, I felt like I was watching Indo-Pak matches back in the early 2000s... May be that was because of the crowds :happy

Dhaka? Why? Because you live there?

According to me, the last exciting India-Pakistan match was the final of the T20 World Cup. It was a true classic. Pakistan fought so hard, and they deserved victory as much as India did. Even the game in Durban was an equally good classic. Maybe if India and Pakistan face off in T20's, the old sparks will fly as good as before.

I agree completely, ODI's and Tests aren't just as exciting as they once were between these two countries. Tests are just plain and simply boring, Hopefully the upcoming Test Series will provide more entertainment than the Test series in '07 and in ODI matches, The result of match is normally decided by the 30th over of the match, We are being robbed of what were before highly exciting last 20 overs...:p

Nah. I used to live there. In Independence cup 1998 and Asia Cup 2000, I went to watch all the matches of India-Pakistan and the atmosphere was fantastic, the crowd were just crazy about Indian and Pakistani Cricketers with all those cheers...

Though I don't know if it's any different now because I couldn't watch the Kitply Cup live in the stadium...

I think it may be because we want fire and two very strong teams instead we have Pakistan, with a captain who is not looking to be aggressive and attack attack and attack more. And we have India who also has that passive type Captains and they really need that fire to bring the atmosphere up a lot.

If you remember the older days maybe Saraha Cup omg I live in Toronto and I loved going to matches and seeing Inzi raise his bat to kill a guy. That showed fire and huge rivalry now its more whatever because there is not a huge fire in each player like they used to have

Passive captain for India? Dhoni is pretty aggressive on his own. And you know a captain when you can see the body language of the players under him. There have been many instances where the team under Dhoni has come out attacking (sometimes even verbally if needed!)

Now THIS is overkill, I've had it with the Pakistan series'.

But will do loads of good for the Pakistan Cricket. It might be a overkill but should be a good series in case we see indians slipping a bit:p, which would make it more interesting.:D

Don't think, India have always played there and I think we should go though that's a fan perspective.

However if government doesn't permit then there would be valid reason for the same, well see how it unfolds in future.

The bombs have got more frequent though.

Our players could do with some rest though. Playing Pakistan year after year means nothing.
