You don't deserve to be in team if you can't grab your opportunities. No one is going to look at his domestic stats if he fails at international level.
Yeah, we needed this loss for our top order to think something. It's good to lose now and improve before England tour.

Finally, this is what happens when Rohit Sharma doesn't proform. The team lose to WI. The "champions".
Nonsense. He deserves to play in the tests. The runs he has been accumulating in domestic cricket have all been in 4 day matches, not in ODI's. He deserves a whole tour before judgement is passed out on him. Mukund will certainly make his debut (because he is an opener and both Gambhir and Sehwag are not there). It will be Kohli vs Badrinath for the middle order spot in the test XI, and Badri will and should get the nod unless Dhoni has other silly ideas
Badri has fluffed up his limited overs career with a poor performance in the ODI's. With this, he wont be picked even in T20's in the future (inspite of his good 43 knock in the T20 game this tour). His best chance is to resurrect himself in the test team and get a few big hundreds. If not, this tour might be the end for him. Feel so dejected and disappointed, but that's how you have to make careers for yourself, by scoring when it matters.

Era? End of Badrinath's career would be an apt word. He still has a chance to resurrect himself in the tests if Dhoni decides to give him a go there. But I feel somehow Kohli will sneak ahead of Badri in the tests and after this tour, Badri will be completely dumped (Srikanth is very strict of any of his state players when it comes to selection; he rotates them pretty quickly if they dont perform; thats what he did to Vijay and Badrinath).

It required a second string of a second string Indian side to lose to the West Indies side (dont tell me they didnt have Gayle; he is the only guy they miss and its not others problem if teams heavily rely on Gayle). If India had won today, it would have been an even bigger mockery of WI. Thankfully for WI, they have restored some pride for themselves.

Chanderpaul Gayle Bravo Rampaul , well I can say they played a second string xi too. They are a fine side tbh, its just that the bloody curators didn't cooperate with them and prepared spinner friendly tracks for the first 4 odis which India are always bound to feast upon. The one for the fifth odi at Jamaica is set to have bounce accompanied with pace, that should be a good contest.
And seriously people who're calling for Badri to be dropped for the test series are just retarded. He's classy when it comes to the longer version of the game, just accept that!

We are not desperate. Our team is building. Your team went throught that. When new players like Virat Kohli, Raina, Sharma came in. I don't hate India. It is the same as Pakistan. I have been there. And if you read my statement properly I said India have good test players like Sehwaq, Gambhir and Raina. Not that he is the best. He may be my favorite Indian player. We may fix a match but that is just a few who disgrace our nation. In all fairness the point I was trying to prove with my statement, is your team lost to a 2nd West Indies, with no Gayle,Chanderpaul,Bishoo,Rampaul. Most of your players played stupid shots.

Mate you have got to give time to settle in, he is probably nervous because of big guns. Wait and I am sure he will be good. He is very classy as IPL level. Dhoni hardly ever proformed with the bat before the WC (last year). India didn't chuck him out and he scored 90+ in final. Wait and watch his talent

Yeah it seems like he's past his best, struggling a lot to even find singles. He used to be a fluent player and got runs at will. Both his half centuries were quite slow and he was struggling a lot.

I think Badrinath should be given more time, no one in the top order is finding it easy in this series, its not that only he is failing. Also I was pretty impressed with Ishant, he was getting the ball to bounce a lot and was quick too. But he needs to sort out his no-ball problems quickly. Ashwin isn't doing enough to challenge Bhajji's position in the team. Raina needs to be more attacking as captain, he brought in part-timers when Pollard came in and was struggling, instead he should've brought in Mishra or Ashwin.

That game really belonged to WI. Their lower-order batted really well to help them reach 249. India's batting was really very bad. Some big names like Kohli, Raina and Rohit failed and along with that others too. Parthiv Patel keeps playing some short knocks.
I think that Kohli should be given a chance to play in TESTS.

We win the series from our Bench Strength 3-0 and then we play 3rd string side and lose 1 match after winning the series, we get comments like this
. Pakistan also lost their last two matches after winning series with their 1st string side, they got owned in last match lost it by 10 wickets. That's the semifinalist team 
. Don't shame yourself dude, we have got strong Bench strength, only if top order stop playing T20 and un matured sides we will be good bench side also. Grow up man seriously.----------
Give time? He won't get any better opportunities than in West Indies. He won't be given time in England to prove himself. He has to prove himself with opportunities given. It will be unfair to other to give this guy more opportunities.

It has rarely seemed like 250 would be a bad score, so it's hard to say if anyone looks terminally scratchy. Though batsmen who get in have tended to really get in, by and large, batting on both teams has been inconsistent. Plus, if Sarwan is past it at 30, then West Indies cricket has reached a new level of ruination.
