MATCH REPORT
The Western Australian captain Justin Langer won the toss and elected to have a bat first. It was the worst start of the season for anyteam, losing their first 3 wicket for 3 runs, including the wicket of the ever so dangerous Adam Gilchrist for 0 off 0 balls, a diamond duck. The top three only contributed 2 runs to the total so it was all up to Martyn and Hussey to get a defendable total. They put Western Australia back on the feet, by getting a 49 run partnership, including 13 off 1 Lewis over. Hussey and Martyn fell in succession and the score was at 5/52. 16 runs later Shaun Marsh was run out for only 5 runs. Next over Worthington chipped one back to Warne to be out for 10 runs. Some fast hitting from Hogg got the score to 7/85 before he was dismissed. Angel and Williams didn't last long in the middle and Western Australia scampered past 100 of only 33.1 overs. The standout this innings were Martyn: 33 (44), and Warne: 4/38.

Victoria had a small run chase on their hands, but they made a meal of it at the start with Jonathon Moss the most inform batsman in their side, edging a full toss to the keeper for only 1 run. Elliot and Hodge made a decent partnership of 51, before the bowling of Bradley Hogg struck. Hodge was out misjudging the spin, and becoming clean bowled. Hogg dismissed three more batsman in this Victorian side for only 8 runs. Cameron White was promoted for his good batting this season and he didn't let anyone down today either. He made 14* (22), and gave the strike to Elliot to make his 50. White ended the innings with 2 consecutive boundaries, 1 straight down the ground, and 1 through square leg. Victoria reached the target of 105 in 24.4 overs, 5 wickets down. The standouts this innings were Elliot: 54* (70), and Hogg: 4/28. The "Man of the Match" was awarded to Brad Hogg for his figured of 4/28, and his contribution with the bat. Victoria's next match is against Tasmania, and they will have to play without strike bowler Michael Lewis, as he has sun stroke and will be out of action for 1 day.

did he really have sun stroke i wouldnt no coz i still have to w8 another month for the game 2 cum out. ENGLANDS CHEAP

Thats very od for the AI to make that small a total with the patch!
Good bowling!, the batting still needs work though!

I'm good at bowling, but am hopeless at batting, once I play it more, I'll get better at batting. The only reason I'm good at bowling is coz i got an unreal field set, the only way they can get runs it basically an edge to third man, or hit it on the leg side. I got a 7-2 field.
