No there is no IPL in this game. Codies have only got Licenses for Aussie and English teams.

I think Codies should create an option of a Custom Tournament wherein make all players available and enable the players to play the tournament both online and offline.
That will solve IPL/Aussie Domestic/English Domestic/Other Domestic Team Issues and will be a great addition to the game.

All said and done I also strongly believe that Codies should not be in a hurry to release a Cricket game.They should iron out all the rough edges and acquire the official licence from the ICC and include all official players. That will be a great value addition to the game.

People have got such unrealistic ideas of whats going to be in the new game, come on there were so many things broken with ashes and they were all basic things we should expect to be right.
So to think any domestic or ipl teams will be in there is just so unrealistic, as long as we getter a more on field realistic game then its the improvement we need

Gamers are pretty much always wrong to expect perfect sims. Get a QuakeLive account; you'll soon realise you're not a perfect gamer. A good sim is about immersion more than reality. Getting a wicket in 10 minutes is more likely to feel immersive than getting a wicket in one hour. The AI should be easy to trick for a savvy captain, but such players should be on the hunt for real prey. That's the real hunt.

I guess it kinda goes without saying, but the smallest of the minorities that had Ashes 2009 on PC off gamesplanet (or steam, I am guessing), are still not getting a patch, even though, by the looks of it, 2010 is probably just that for the consoles. Probably which is why they are not releasing cricket 2010 on PC. A tad disappointing...

No PC version :dohmad: I think that's a major oversight considering the amount of PC gamers around.... I certainly won't buy a console for one game, still... it's good to see Transmission Games still around. I guess us PC users will have to wait and see what *our* next cricket game will be.

Cause not many people actually played the Ashes offline or online. Addicts usually play ODIs and T20s.
