Pitch: - 109 - A heavily prepared pitch with little in it for the bowlers.
There is just the chance that the wicket may begin to show signs of wear before the final day but don't count on it.
All the bowlers can be sure of is the opportunity to bowl many overs with little hope of success.

The Australian XI batted first on an excellent batting pitch and centuries to Joe Burns and Matt Renshaw took them to a strong first innings total.
Peter Handscomb also made runs as most of the Australian XI batsmen got some good batting practice.
Kamrul Islam bowled well for Bangladesh A to take 3 wickets but received little support.

Half centuries to openers Imrul Kayes and Shadman Islam got Bangladesh A off to a good start before 3 wickets fell with the score on 127 forcing a rebuild.
The middle order batted solidly and a half century to Liton Das took Bangladesh A to a total of 300 just before Lunch on Day 3.
Pat Cummins was the pick of the Australian XI bowlers with 3 wickets but the strong Bangladesh A reply means the match seems headed for a Draw.

Bangladesh A won the Toss and with the wicket set to improve to Fast Paced on Day 2 elected to bowl first.
After a slow start by the openers saw off the New Ball the Bangladesh A spinners got to work, sharing all 10 wickets as the Australian XI were bundled out for 133.
Matt Renshaw top scored with a patient half century but the visitors had batted poorly and needed a good bowling performance to get back into the match.
Legspinner Jubair Hossain claimed 4-46 and offspinners Shuvagata Hom and Nasir Hossain claimed 3 each in an excellent performance by the Bangladesh A spinners.

Wickets were shared around with Peter Siddle the best of the bowlers with 3 wickets and James Pattinson and Steve O'Keefe taking 2 each.
Bangladesh A captain Nasir Hossain top scored with 35 but his side had batted poorly and his team now needed early wickets before the pitch improves to Fast Paced after Tea.

Bangladesh A v Australian XI - 3 day match - Sylhet - 2017

On a pitch which became Damaged at One End after Lunch on Day 3 the Bangladesh A side again batted poorly to be all out for 111 to lose the match by 144 runs.
Revelling in the conditions, Steve O'Keefe took 6-20 on a damaged pitch as the visitors wrapped up an easy win with a session to spare.
Nazmul Hossain was the only Bangladesh A batsman to show any fight as he posted an unbeaten half century.
O'Keefe was named Man of the Match after picking up 8 wickets for the game.
