That
was my revolt too. They started off as bad as you hate, they retained no players. Let Gilly and Sharma out. They'd still have saved their money over had they retained them. They started to bid and drop down when they had so much money the cards will crash to, and their strategy to make a well-balanced side got them to the pits early on on the first day.
I think it'll give them a few blows for not picking some good chaps. Yusuf could've been a good buy, they well bid for him but I don't know they were over their worries to save up the money.
But then I began to feel the so called well balanced plan began to actually be a good one. My worry's they got in too many overseas players and few Indian guys. They should've picked stand up and trash demon players. Pathan brothers would've been good buys. Murali karthik would have been great as well.
They looked for balance but it's to be seen if specialists will be bought on further in time. Their plan might have been prompted from the debacles and close endings they've had in the previous seasons. They had few perfect players, and few nuts. There was no formidable support to the lower order and vice versa to the higher order of the batsmen. I'm decently happy with the squad they have now, Bowlers are the pick of the auction for me and which can probably be pipped to be one of the challenging of the lot but I do feel they could've done more or probably the best of any team therein the auction and bought some sensible players.
Hopefully the only crooked thing we can imagine is to see some players reject contracts from their franchises and Deccan grab them up!
There's no end to being silly.
