Colors? How come? Sony TV is far better in quality with the programs than Colors. And many popular shows are on Sony TV than Colors. Indian Idol, Entertainment Ke Liye Kuch Bhi Karega, etc are on Sony. Even the big movies happen more on Sony (recently they had 3 Idiots, and they have many blockbuster hit films with them). Star Plus, maybe I agree because I havent seen much of it. But Colors, I had it for a month and removed it because it was too boring. Here its called "Aapka Colors". Even the picture quality of Colors were below average.
In recent times, Sony just provided one premiere. Colors has been telecasting movies just after the months of their release. Some of them being Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahana, Once upon a time in Mumbai, Khatta Meetha, etc. The popular reality shows like Bigg Boss and Fear Factor are also telecasted on Colors. Some time ago, a flop one from Abhishek Bachchan, National Bingo Night was also on Colors.
Entertainment ke liye kuch bhi karega is just a 'zero' as a show. Nobody here cares much about it. Rather, Colors has India's got talent, which is very popular. Then Colors had some dance shows too.
For daily soaps, there are many which are on Colors and famous too. I am unable to re-collect even a single show from Sony TV, but from Colors, shows like Balikha Vadhu, Na aana is desh..., Utaran, etc. are famous.
A channel from Sony's network, Sab is doing very well in India. But the main channel (Sony) is not so popular. I am sure KBC didn't need Sony, Sony needed KBC. Earlier, KBC used to be telecasted on Star Plus and Bigg Boss used to be on Sony.
