I guess CID is coming to an end this time with Aakhri Chunauti. They have been dragging it quite a bit now and it gives the hint that this might be it.

The show begins tonight, on Big B's birthday. Can't wait for it. Hopefully its good. :)

Happy Birthday Mr. Bachchan! Hope KBC 4 is a big hit just as Version 1 and 2. Waiting eagerly for it.

Superb START TO THE SHOW!!! AB, What a man! The scenes that he acted out from Agneepath and Deewar were truly hair raising. Especially the one from Deewar, my dad and mom wiped off their tears (never saw my dad cry till date). His dancing to the remix versions of "Khaike Paan Banaraswala" and "Pag Ghungroo Baand Meera Naachi Thi" were just stylish. At his age, his energy levels are remarkable.

The real thing (ie. the questions) went off pretty quickly. Since its the first show, the humor quotient hasnt been quite as expected, but I guess it will grow. Some questions were too simple, but from the 5th question, it gets progressively tougher and challenging. The second guy used up two lifelines for the first 3 questions itself:laugh. Should be interesting. This season is just for 9 weeks (4 days a week). Too short, eh?:( Great start!

There really wasn't anything that emotional. Looks like your parents are big fans of Big B.

Well, the show started of well. Liking the idea of the time limits, the show goes quicker.

The questions weren't upto the mark. The only one I didn't know was the one in which the first contestant took the help of Charu Sharma. The question was related to NREGA and the answer of was Mahatma Gandhi. Rest of the questions were pretty simple.

The second contestant looks amateur. Took a lifeline in the very first question (milk color on mixing with saffron) and also he didn't know the names of the IPL teams properly. :p

The show looks good. Will watch it for some more days and then will be back at BB (not Big B, Bigg Boss :D)

Yes they are big fans of Big B. I am a big fan too, but I didnt feel as emotional. I guess the older people from that generation cherish it a lot more than people from our generation do. Maybe because for them, its nostalgia and also it was quite unexpected to see Big B turn in that kind of seriousness to that performance for a show like this.

Like the lifelines, the two added ones. Double dip and Ask the expert is a good choice.
